“I’ve stayed here twice now and had the same room both times. The room is very nice and spacious. The check in and welcome was good. Breakfast was a bit of a let down this time though. Service was very slow and my Eggs Benedict was served cold and I didn’t have time to send it back for another. The evening bar service was good and the guy behind the bar was good for a chat. Great location for visiting the outlet shopping centre nearby too. It’s only a few minutes walk. Overall a good place to stay.”

“Excellent camping site. Several playgrounds for the children. Clean sanitary. Good swimming pool. The snacks at the snack bar were tasty. The indoor playground is big and nice. The pitches are big. Polite and friendly staff.”

“Beautiful facility, attractive grounds to walk, excellent free parking. Out of the way location, but I knew that when I booked and that was part of the charm. Our evening dining experience was well worth the price and a real treat for the eye and palate.”

“Had an AMAZING fine dining experience. Totally recommend that. But if you're used to luxury hotels, in my opinion this isn't really top notch in terms of rooms. The walls are a bit dirty and have scratches, the furniture seem coming from ikea. For the price it was there wasn't even a bath hub but just a shower. The room temperature was really warm and my partner didn't have a peaceful night because of that and we couldn't lower the temperature for some reason. In the mini bar there were wines, cheap snacks, coca cola and Heineken ...which to me it's a total mismatch with the image the hotel presents of itself. It would have been much different to find healthy bio organic snacks and beers from local breweries, for instance. However the bed was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. I would definitely go back for the fine dining, but I wouldn't spend my money for a room again.”

“Very cozy and beautiful hotel next to the beach, with indoor swimming pool, spa, bar, restaurant and gym. Include breakfast. Is possible rent a little house in the beach for keep you belongings and enjoy to the sea. Was a very nice experience, I really recommend this hotel!! Bring you own sleepers because the hotel does not offer sleepers. And I would love the bath ropes be bigger, but were the only things I did not like. Everything were almost perfect. I will come back because I enjoy a lot my holidays in Texel.”

“The service at Sir Albert was flawless. Shoutout to Ishmael and Leila! They were fantastic hires. Very helpful in offering recommendations, kind, and welcoming. This goes for all front desk staff. Other standouts worth mentioning… - The bed linens are so comfortable! I often feel hotel linens are scratchy, but these are so soft. - Cozy sitting area in the lobby (and very well designed). - Fully stocked, clean gym. - Location being 15 min walking to all the main attractions. - They put a candy cane and sweet not on all doors on Christmas Day. This was such a sweet touch for those who were away from their families. Obviously, I highly recommend Sir Albert!”

“This is a very comfortable hotel in a pleasant leafy suburb of Eindhoven. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and all spoke good English. The restaurant and outdoor terrace proved to be very popular, creating a great atmosphere. Air conditioning in the room worked well - luckily, as the temperatures were very high for the time of year. Wifi was free and worked well. There's plenty of free on-street parking available outside too. Breakfast was very good quality, though the range of items was quite small. Coffee was excellent though, and eggs could be cooked to order. The bedroom was spacious enough for 2-3 days but a lack of storage might be a downside for a longer stay.”

“Lovely natural camping (there's also huts available for rent but I can't say anything about those) with generous plot sizes for tents and good amount of trees for shade. Kids absolutely loved the creative and exploration activities provided by the camping as well as (natural) swimming spots. Also the location is nice that there's plenty of cycling and walking routes around. The pizza from their pizza bar is also definitely worth getting.”

“Great place to relax! Cozy rooms and friendly hosts and staff. Delicious breakfasts, they also serve lunch made from organic products, but unfortunately we were not able to use this service because lunch is served only from 12:00-15:00. But in the neighboring town there is an excellent Bistro of Peter and in the immediate vicinity there is a restaurant at the golf club. Peter's cuisine is very decent - we recommend it. On the territory of this boarding house there is a wonderful garden and an evening bar, open depending on the time of year until 17:00 or 18:00, respectively. If you want to experience city life, Amsterdam and Utrecht are about half an hour away. But you live and enjoy the local nature, canals, walking and cycling. Thank you very much to the owners and the entire team for your work! Good luck!”

“We booked into the site on a touring pitch last minute as we needed an overnight stop on the way to the ferry after a long drive. This is one of the best sites we have stayed on in Europe despite the fact it was closing down for the season. Warm welcome from staff, nice spacious pitches, well maintained petting zoo and a number of toilet/shower facilities located all around the site. I would highly recommend this site and will happily return in the future for a better look around the area”

“Great location. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Housekeeping made some mistakes which the staff could not rectify as they had left for the day around 4 pm. . That was a sore point. Linen is changed after 3 days of stay. This wasn't known to me before.”

“A cosy train cabin hostel. The rooms are small as they are just train cabins but the beds are comfy and there’s enough space in between the levels of the beds. Overall a very enjoyable stay”
Ruwenbergstraat 7, 5271 AG Sint-Michielsgestel, Netherlands
“Great place to stay with extremely helpful reception staff like Fleur who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, as well as Mike and Julia. They could improve the quality of the mattresses as this is very important for rest. Also, they should not allocate guests who are going courses and exams above the bar where it’s Noisy and people party loudly until late.”

“Great place to unwind! The surrounding is really breathtaking: massive full grown wood with variety of walking paths that leads you to quiet and peaceful beach. The staff is really wonderful with family spirit and personal touch. Make sure that you include the dining package in your reservation: the meal is delicious and the service is excellent. Highly recommend!”

“It is a pity we were not able to visit the castle but we understand that when people stay here for rest and quiet the tourists would only distract and disturb them. We had a nice coffee and tea, plus a nice piece of Dutch apple pie at the coach house and visited the local products shop Afterwards we had a very nice walk through the woods.”
