“Hotel Maysa was sufficient. But as someone who is used to hotels in the USA. I find things lacking. First, wifi signal isn’t strong enough in my bedroom(only kinda works in the bathroom). The management was able to change a room for me the next day, and internet speed was very fast once I got a strong signal. Both rooms I got only had small windows, and there is no fan in the bathroom? How do I vent the humidity? Trash can in the bathroom is very rusted, and the faucet seems to have some sort of leak that spills onto the counters. There is a lot of cracked on the floor tile. In general, room is dated overall. Breakfast is great though. And customer service is very friendly even though I don’t speak Portuguese.”

“Very dated and tired rooms. Walls stained throughout, strong smell of damp(and chemicals) and with stained bed sheets. Everything felt and smelled damp. Doors and walls were stained and looked like they hadn’t been painted in years. Old and rusted appliances throughout.This was probably the most run down room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was good- which is in the resort part of the hotel. The pool area was pleasant but needs updating and upgrading. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“The hotel is cozy and nice, but it lacks proper parking for the apartments which may annoyed me a bit. The breakfast is one of its highlight and you will remember having had it for a long time. We also ordered some food from the hotel and, I gotta say, it was delicious. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't as near as expensive as most restaurants in town. The family that works in the kitchen, a couple and their daughter, surprised us with politeness and solicitude. You'll also remember them by. The room we picked, the cheapest one, was a bit too small, but since we had no intention in staying in the hotel, it wasn't a problem. It was equipped with air conditioner, thank God! They provided us with a remote key for the hotel entrance and I have to say not having to get out of your car or wait for someone to open the gate for you is definitely a plus, kudos to that!”

“It is considered 4.5 stars hotel and really bad experience with receptionist. I ask for 1 cup to deliver to the room and they said they do not provide this service, a 4.5 stars hotel and they don’t provide proper room service for the guest? But then I use their application asking for toilet paper and the housekeeping came and she was kind enough to go back and get us the cup. But normally they do not do this kind of service as per receptionist. And also we arrived at 6am (normal check-in is 14:00) and the receptionist charged us for full day fee instead of half day fee for the room which I also find it ridiculous. But this receptionist guy was trying his best to give us a twin bed room for us which was very kind of him.”

“If you are americanized and looking for 5 star fancy experience this is not the place for you. The breakfast was simple and good. The rooms were nice and simple. The air conditioning worked. The shower was hot. The pool was a good temperature and had a small slide for kids. You are basically paying for the view 370 reais for 2 nights. They had houses on stilts but wanted 400 reais per night. It was a little much. I would stay there again”
