“This is such a brilliant hotel! Perfectly located amongst loads of bustling restaurants and bars, and within easy walking distance to Rome's main tourist hot-spots. Yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful, tucked away down a side road, and enjoys lovely gardens, which we sat out in for breakfast, despite it being the end of November. The staff here are fabulous - from the lovely people in reception to the breakfast and bar staff -- all are so friendly and welcoming. We had a good laugh with everyone, it is such a happy place. Our room was kept spick and span by the housekeepers -- everything was perfect! We are planning our next trip to Rome -- it is such an amazing city -- and we will definitely be staying at the Hotel Santa Maria again.”

“The Donna Camilla Savelli is a mixed bag. The positives- the building itself - It is simply beautiful. The common areas, hallways and garden are so elegant. The serving staff, cleaners, and Ian the bell boy were also lovely. The negatives- For a four star hotel our “Executive” room was somewhat disappointing. The soundproofing was very poor. We were woken between 5-6am every morning by delivery vehicles, laundry collection, glass collection etc. The bathroom was very outdated, no dressing gowns, no coffee machine, and (strangest of all) two paper cups (a china cup and saucer would have been nice). The buffet breakfast was extensive. A large choice of food. Unfortunately the bacon and sausages were very greasy though, and a $5 extra charge for an omelette rather unnecessary in a 4 star establishment. Also milk had to be requested which was also strange. Finally we found the reception staff to be polite, but a little cold and unwelcoming (sorry not being unkind but that was our impression). Overall we loved the hotel building and garden, but feel that the overall experience could have been better, especially given the premium price charged to stay there.”

“I have had an extended stay here with a group of other American students, and this hotel has been unbelievably accommodating! We are a group of noisy and in-the-way American kids, and this hotel staff has not faltered once. The staff is constantly helping us out with anything we need, the breakfast is amazing, the room service is great, and the bartender is especially amazing. He is great. We have all felt extremely welcomed and assisted here during out stay. Absolutely recommend staying here. Also shoutout Paul, one of the employees who helps out around the hotel generally. He is great.”

“Excellent hotel, clean and comfortable. I travelled October 2023 with friends, we stayed in a triple room which was a good size, had pleasant decor, and a good en-suite shower room. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and staff were helpful throughout the hotel. The hotel is within ten minutes walk from the main Termini rail, metro and bus station. The nearest metro station is Castro Pretorio, which is within 5 minutes walk. My friends and I were very happy with this hotel and would stay there again.”

“We had a great stay here. The rooms will give you the actual Roman vibe. The staff makes you feel welcome and is available 24/7. Glen was a really good host. The hotel is like a 15 min walk from Colosseum. They provide you with the city map and mark the main landmarks which you can visit. The rooms are small but are suffice for 2 people.”

“Booked a five day package at this hotel - which was described as 4 stars, luxury and opulent. In a nutshell completely over offered and massively under delivered! Our offer included an upgrade to DELUXE room. Our room was small, very basic with a smell of sewage. We went straight to reception and were immediately without question given a better room. This was bigger and better but still fairly basic compared to what we were sold! Added to horrendous hard bed, smell of sewage and noise carrying through from other guests and staff. Breakfast was just about OK- fresh juice and most decent offerings were all charged as extras. The staff were so unhelpful and very miserable. The Spa and Gym was a massive disappointment as hotel wanted 90€ a session for the two of us - so wasted precious package space for gym kits. We had enough and decided to check out early but for a second time given an upgraded room, which was at last acceptable but we would never return to this hotel.”

“Me, my wife and our daughter stayed in this hotel as it was between the airport and cruise port. The rooms are beautifully renovated with solid AC and comfortable beds. The staff is outstanding. Claudia arranged all our transportation and everything went perfectly. She was very sweet and helpful. Allegra greeted us at the morning breakfast, very nice food choice and great coffee, and she was so lovely and charming and offered restaurant recommendations for our post cruise stay in Roma. Simone was friendly and helpful, he generously helped us with dinner reservations and tips about the local town. Lilo, who also works for the hotel, picked us up from the airport and drove us to the port the next day. He was a good driver and good company. The rest of the staff, sorry we can't name them all, were outstanding too. Also, there is a great pizza/pasta restaurant, TIP Ristorante, across the street but make a reservation. Some Canadian friends said the Chinese restaurant across the street was good too but we had a great meal at TIP. Thanks again to everyone at Hotel Corsi!”

“My husband and I took a 3 week vacation all over Italy and Iceland. We stayed at many great hotels, however, this was by far the greatest experience. The staff is genuinely compassionate, friendly and they all give you the feeling that they want you to have an amazing experience. I hurt my leg and requested to switch rooms for one with a tub. They quickly accommodated this request with no problem. I also got very sick the last 3 days of my trip and they took the time to find me a travel doctor that cost only 30 Euros and I got the medicine that I needed. Our last day, we needed a cab for 230AM. They reserved this for us and even went as far as packing us both a breakfast bag! 🥹. This staff is special. I have nothing but great things to say about all of them. Thank you for a magical stay and will be back for sure !!!”
