“Best place we stayed! Could probably get better beds/mattresses. I specifically wanted to find a place that had a view of the Mediterranean. This was the most incredible view we had on our entire trip. The room was clean and beautiful. I think I had the best shower of my entire life here. The water pressure was amazing. This is a place you can stay that actually has a lot of history! It wasn't one time a monastery and it's a beautiful example of handcrafted wood, art, and Victorian era pieces of furniture. There were such beautiful pieces in there and it was like staying in a museum! We love going to museums and this was no exception. It was so incredible. There's a rooftop terrace that overlooks the bay of Naples. You can see from Sorrento to Naples and feel like you have a front seat. Views during the night time and daytime are incredible and you can even see Mount Vesuvius. Our particular room was a corner room and we had both views. We loved staying here. The service was also incredible. The reception was extremely helpful. There are only a few restaurants in the area and we went to Sorrento for a brighter nightlife. This isn't a very quiet area and if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is a perfect place to stay! Their gardens are also beautiful and calming to be in. Away from the chaos of the city. It was hard to get there and we probably should have just gotten a taxi. The bus looks like it gets there, but we could not find the right bus and the buses there are very different than anywhere else. We ended up walking from the tram station. The tram station is about a 12-minute walk downhill from the tram. It's uphill to the tram and takes a little more time. With suitcases we didn't want to drag, we carried most of the way. We loved this area and found the nicest people here.”

“Visited Meridiana Hotel for a wedding. Service at wedding was outstanding, Counterdesk service was bored and busy with Mobil phone and chats with colleagues. Parking slots are not secured, everyone could enter ( not ideal for this type of location) food was good, I was still expecting more”

“This is a nice Hotel to stay with but the pictures of the beach are very misleading. They have a public beach you can walk to below the hotel which is convenient but it is nothing like those pictures. The beach has sea growth washing up on the sand all day and it is very crowded. They do offer to take you to a private beach down the road with a shuttle and that is nice as well but definitely not 4 stars. Maybe over all it rates 3 stars.”

“stayed week beg 13th oct 23 not one normally for posting reviews , but ! upon arrival lots of stairs to carry suitcases up ( no help ) very tired looking entrance with broken tiles and over grown gardens,, the pool is at the front ( freezing and just beside dual carriage way ( not relaxing very noisy) food is bland , head waiter very abrasive man .. and was rude to any complaints he received ( we did not complain as it can just dampen holiday) but often our hot food was cold & tasteless . rooms were big & clean on a positive note and balcony was huge .. reception staff lovely but looked very tired. walk into sorrento not good , especially coming home in dark . Would not recommend this hotel, family run and they just not interested in there guests.. 2 stars”

“The room was clean and ladies from roomservice were kind to us. We got new towels every day and if we wanted they gave us new toiletries. Airconditioning was not very cold, but we could sleep. There was a renovation going on to the outside of the hotel so we couldn't open the balcony. Because of the hot weather, it didn't bother us. Our breakfast we found good enough. It was very basic, but we were satisfied with everything. We could also make our own pancakes and that was really nice! We liked the swimming pool very much and they cleaned it well. Altough there was not a lot of sitting places besides the couches... Hotel staff was nice and always greeted us with a smile on their face. A point of improvement would be the towels for the swimming pool. We had to use our bathrobe from the room at the swimming pool. A new towel would be €2,- or we had to wait for the morning (roomservice).”

“We stayed in this B&B for a whole week and were very happy with our choice. The location is perfect, just in between all places worth visiting. The train and ferry stations are also within easy walking distance. The rooms can get a bit noisy in the mornings but everything else is just perfect. The staff are very helpful and they also make delicios breakfasts - so you can start every day with a huge piece of an Italian cake.”

“This was a working trip. In the middle of nowhere. Approximately 20 euros to Pozzouli and 20 back by Taxi. It can get expensive over a week. The hotel doesn't offer evening meals which is why you need to travel, unless you have a car. But otherwise the rooms are quite nice and the room cleaning service were spot on. Made bed and changed towels every day while I was at work. Everything was neat, clean and tidy. Would I stay again? No, but only because for the location it is in. Though you do get a cracking view of the hills and valley. Everyone was friendly and polite and welcomed us. Many thanks.....room 302”

“This hotel looks good on paper but I would be careful about booking. We had an early morning flight and wanted to go to sleep at 10pm. Unfortunate, we were given a room between 2 noisy families and we could easily hear the sound through the walls. When I spoke to reception about this, they had little empathy for us. The rooms are basic and clean but the beds and pillows are not comfortable.”

“Such wonderful stay at The Grand hotel Cesare Augusto. Just steps away room Tasso Square. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. They offer a wonderful breakfast from 7 to 10. Our tour group was suppose to stay here. But ended up changing hotels. As I came out a few days prior to the hotel I ended up staying here. I am glad I did.”

“We've stayed here for a few nights and I must say I would stay there again. There are two things that you might want to consider before staying, to me, they didn't make a difference. I've uploaded a video of the sound you here every time someone in the next room uses water on their bathroom. It didn't bother me that much. The dark photo was taken at night, and its showing the room door and the light that comes in from the hallway. The door doesn't seal properly and lets some light in. The staff is great, super friendly, and always ready to help you. As soon as we checked in, we got a little description os the city and the main attractions, and they also gave us a map with all that info. The location is great, a super safe place near the train station (3 minutes walk) and we walked everywhere from the hotel and back. The room itself isn't that big, but it's more than enough, it's very clean, and they clean it everyday, the ac worked well and the bathroom was OK with nice water pressure and temperature. Again, I would stay there again without any problem.”
