“Just returned from a very lovely stay at Hotel Kindl. Our daughter, 2.4 yrs loved the hotel's kindergarden. Opposite is a little farm, where you can walk over anytime to spend some time with the farm animals which is a great experience. The staff was so lovely, always helpful and friendly. Really cosy lounge and bar area, to do 'home office' during the day. Spa and Wellness area are all new and beautiful. Great view from Sauna into the mountains, tranquil peaceful time out. Food was delicious. We will be back”

“wonderful hotel, great location, just a few minutes to the center and the ski bus stop, and for its guests, the hotel has organized transportation by special shuttle bus to the glacier and back. The environment is very friendly, from the reception to the maids, the waiters are very cordial, especially the waiter Edi. The wellness area is extremely beautiful and well equipped and organized, as is the swimming pool. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are cleaned every day and the towels are changed. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with everything necessary and even a special set of accessories. The rooms are spacious and the balcony is nice. The food is varied, for breakfast an excellent and abundant buffet, dinner in courses, afternoon snacks are nice cakes, soup, tea.... Special thanks to Cornelia from the reception because she solved the problem of changing the skis very successfully and quickly. Yes, the ski room is big enough and tidy. A hotel to be desired, thank you for everything, it was wonderful….”

“We didn’t enjoy our stay. The Hotel is partly renovated- that means there are nicer and quite dated areas in the Hotel. Quite a few staff members neither spoke German nor English which caused some bigger problems for us, as they couldn’t answer any questions and gave us wrong information in several occasions. Food was often not labelled or mislabeled. For example the duck breast was labeled as vegan and so was the cake. The vegan choices were very limited and didn’t taste well. For New Years Eve the main of the 7-course menu was a supermarket pizza that was still cold on the inside. They advertise Hildegard von Bingen a lot but except for some labeled spiced museum glasses with labels, the food wasn’t particularly healthy- one example was the cheap peanut butter contained palm oil, the margarine and butter came in plastic packages. Sometimes the staff seemed to try, sometimes they didn’t. We definitely didn’t feel the usual friendly Austrian hospitality that we enjoyed all the years before in other hotels of all categories. The swimming pool area was dark and not very inviting, it was hard to find a day bed in the relaxation zone. The sauna was designed like a glass box where everyone can see every bit of you. Usually we are big sauna fans but we didn’t use the sauna here for that reason. The room itself was okay. However you could only open one side of the cupboard at a time so when four people trying to get ready its a bit chaotic. The mattresses didn’t feel comfortable. The balcony was nice and overlooked a field. However it was a bit creepy that there was a large window at the lower wall of the balcony so that people walking up the stairs inside would look right at your feet or worse. There were no undercover carparks at the hotel, so we had to scrape ice of our cars windscreen in the morning. Definitely cannot recommend this Hotel, particularly not to those who have dietary restrictions.”

“I'm not even sure where to start with commenting on how much we loved our stay at this hotel. We're a family of 4 with two small kids. We had an apartment room that was described as in the old building but it was totally lovely, plenty of room for us and all our stuff, plus the fridge in the room was good for pumping and storing milk. Everything was always clean and was cleaned regularly during our stay. All our meals were included and was very tasty, it was definitely more traditional Austrian cuisine but they always had a vegetarian option (we're vegetarian) and there were always plenty of vegetarian options available. There were so so many great things to do for the kids, and kids really are central in the way this hotel works. They also provide a giant amount of stuff to borrow so you aren't weighed down by things like baby beds, carriers, or even strollers if you're with the car. Child care is also included in the room price, although our kids didn't want to be away from us 🙈 child care staff are lovely and did their best to help our kids have a good time. People in general speak some English but most things are centered around German speaking. It's also very accessible by public transportation from Innsbruck, this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. And lots of things to do are accessible by bus from the hotel. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone I meet with kids, and hope we can come back another time!”
