“I would love to give this location 5 stars but it would be a disservice to the nature of providing meaningful feedback for the purpose of improvement. I’m diamond member and was hoping to check in early so I arrived at 1:30pm. I was asked to return in a half hour. I came back in 2 and 1/2 hours and the room was still not ready. I played pool in the lobby until around 4:15pm. My wifey began to feel ill so I went to check on the status of my room only to learn that the room had been ready if the system had been refreshed. The process of accessing breakfast could definitely use some improvement by way of verifying actual hotel guests. There is a sign posted to provide your room number on the table with the food. However, the lady servicing the dining area was “selective” about who she asked t their room number. It was very apparent and verbally expressed by several that it felt discriminatory. Other than those two very unfortunate circumstances, the property was very clean and centrally located to popular venues and attractions.”

“We are so glad we chose this hotel! After doing LOTS of research on where to stay in South Beach, we decided to book at the Cardozo and it was the absolute best decision we could have made. Stephen the manager (and his cute dog, Vader) were so incredibly friendly, and hospitable. Upon arrival, we were met with a very warm welcome, since he remembered me from booking over the phone a few months back. We checked in to our initial room (the King Suite) and were blown away at the luxurious feel and sheer size. A few minutes later, a knock at the door and it was our new friend Stephen who asked if we would like to upgrade to the room next door. Turns out this room was even more incredible and boasted 3 gorgeous bathrooms, a dining area, a living area, and lounge area, and a king bedroom. It was absolutely gorgeous! Clean, modern, updated and HUGE! Myself and my 2 girlfriends had more than enough room to hang out and even have our friends party in this room. Highly recommend if you are ever visiting South Beach. The restaurant downstairs had great food and drinks, with live music and a vibrant atmosphere, We loved it here 10/10!”
