“I wanted to surprise my wife with a quick overnight getaway to Santa Barbara. We have a 11 month old daughter and I booked a room through their website.. I misunderstood their child policy and when we arrived they informed us that only their large cottage rooms allow children and not the small room I booked. I was fully prepared to go somewhere else as this was totally my fault. But the owner instead upgraded us to a larger room that would work for us at no extra charge. We are extremely grateful for his hospitality. This place is absolutely amazing, very clean, and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and their breakfast continental was delicious. All their staff was very very kind and helpful.. their text app is amazing as well. Overall I highly recommend this place to stay.”

“Oh man, where to begin. Our “clean towels” literally had human feces on them. We went to the front desk to tell someone, no apology or any words of remorse, they just told us to go to housekeeping, who wasn’t there at the time. At least a sorry would have been nice. The rooms are mediocre at best ( scuffed paint, holes in walls etc). Also the fire alarm had been taking out of the ceiling which we didn’t realize until we were getting ready to leave. At least it didn’t go off from the individuals smoking marijuana on the balcony with the smell wafting into the room. The walls are super thin and you can definitely hear the people in neighboring rooms.”
