Ballyheigue Beach
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Buncurrig, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry, Ireland

“It's a nice beach with beautiful view. Safe beach for the kids to play . Loads of parking space.”

Fanore Beach
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Fanore More, Co. Clare, Ireland

“Another beautiful beach. Lifeguards on duty during the day as there is sometimes dangerous rip currents and it is allowed to swim in special marked areas. Toilets and outside cold shower available.”

Ardmore Cliff Walk
4.8
( 8 reviews )

14 The Heritage, Dysert, Co. Waterford, Ireland

“Very nice path with great views along the way! Everything from old ruins to shear cliffs and a shipwreck. Very much enjoyed the about 3 mile loop.”

Gougane Barra National Forest Park
4.9
( 16 reviews )

Coomroe, Co. Cork, Ireland

“No entrance fee ( if you walk there, not sure about cars) It would be great if the national park started before the Gougan Barra lake / church, I find it quite irritating that cars are driving besides this quaint lake. Also in the national park there were a few cars driving around, i find that quite unnecessary.”

Keel Beach
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Achill Island, Co. Mayo, Ireland

“Lovely huge, clean, soft and sandy beach. Great for kite flying and dog walking, there is also a small but busy surf school here, but beach is big enough, it is not crowded and was virtually empty when we visited midweek in May. Campervan and car parking behind the bank of pebbles, right at the beach. There is a local shop that sells gelato, drinks, baked goods, wine, staples etc and a small butchers on the main road just before turning into beach parking.”

Fountainstown Beach
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Fountainstown, Ferry Road, Co. Cork, Ireland

“I would highly recommend this beach to visit during the summer and/or even during winter. It is a nice small village just outside Cork City. It is about 30 minutes by bus and 20 by car. There are toilet facilities there and also a corner shop. You can also avail of a sauna on the beach front. However I highly recommend booking a sauna in advance online.”

Garretstown Beach
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Co. Cork, Ireland

“The first major beach on the Wild Atlantic Way ,Well actually Garylucas is ,but when the tide is out ,there is only an outcrop of rocks that divide the two ...I am possibly being generous with 4 stars ,as i find this to be a very dirty beach ,lots of rubbish .Such a pity because it could be so much more as the setting is fab .”

Glassilaun Beach
4.9
( 8 reviews )

Unnamed Road, Glassillaun, Co. Galway, Ireland

“All the previous reviews mention both access and parking, so I thought I'd include some pictures. The road down is narrow, if you meet a car someone will be reversing. The car park is not that small, and there is parking along a wall beside the car park. Needless to say, on a sunny day I'd arrive early! There are bins and 2 porta loos in the car park. Beach is great! Lovely sandy beach with very few rocks, and it's shallow a good way out. Some fantastic views of Mweelrea.”

Killiney Hill
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Scalpwilliam Or Mount Mapas, Dublin, Ireland

“My favourite part of Dublin city, so enchanting, calming, and yeah beautiful. Killiney has a special place in my heart. It’s truly a GEM.”

Bray Head

Bray Head

4.8
( 8 reviews )

Newcourt, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

“Beautiful view you can see from the top of head. Part of the walk is very muddy and stiff so it can be a bit intense but totally worth it. It takes about 40 mins from the start point to The top. If the weather is clear, you can see whole Dublin and beautiful Wicklow mountains.. Amazing!”

Dollymount Strand
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Bull Island, Clontarf East, Dollymount, Co. Dublin, Ireland

“A place where I use to go, to find peace... To recharge my batteries... To listen to the seagulls 'screaming' - I wish I could understand them... And the ships... An entire spectacle for the soul! Enjoy!!! 🎉🎊🎉 …”

Greystones South Beach
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Killincarrig, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

“Such a beautiful place! The water was clear. It wasn't too busy. Loads of people just chilling around, very peaceful and enjoyable. My little boy had great fun too. Nice place for a walk. We got food nearby and had lunch at the beach on our picnic blanket. And even the view driving to get to it was lovely!”
