Noosa Heads QLD 4567, Australia

“Spectacular beaches and cliff formations up and down Noosa Heads with pods of dolphins and sea eagles commonly seen. Some of the best sea views Queensland has to offer and pathways all along the cliff tops and past a number of beautiful beaches. Very much recommend a visit.”

Seventy-Five Mile Beach, 75 Mile Beach Road, K'gari QLD 4581, Australia

“This is an awesome little fresh water creek on the east side of Fraser Island. Take your floaties and swimmers. Awesome for kids and a family trip. If you haven't been here before put it on the bucketlist. Plenty of parking and you need a 4wd to access this area.”

Little Crystal Creek

LOT 93 Mount Spec Rd, Crystal Creek QLD 4816, Australia

“Beautiful area, clean, easy parking, great picnic area with tables and amenities. Chilli plunge pools, awesome little hiking trail. Free entry. Was not overcrowded when I was there in November”

Emu Park Main Beach
4.7
( 10 reviews )

8 Hill St, Emu Park QLD 4710, Australia

“Love this place. The people seem quite nice, the view is incredible, the water is wonderful... There's an area just up the steps from the beach to wash off which is brilliant and toilets very close by. There are picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, and a place to buy food and drink. MAIN CONCERN is I've heard from a few people that the lifeguards don't know life saving techniques as there was a recent incident where they pulled someone out of the water and didn't know what to do and simply said they were dead and were going to leave it at that. A nurse, thankfully, was on the beach and told them what to do whilst she performed CPR and brought the person back. So in short - love the beach and facilities, but I wouldn't put my life in the hands of the life guards.”

Alligators Nest Swimming Hole

Walter Hill QLD 4854, Australia

“Another great place to swim. Beautiful crystal clear water, soft sandy bottom & cool water. Easy access to the water via built stairs. Parking is a little limited but easy to find. Large area for picnics or playing around. Beware of the Marsh (Horse) flies.”

Emmagen Creek
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Rd, Cape Tribulation QLD 4873, Australia

“Just amazing …you’ll find this gem only 7 kms North (part of it, a dirt road) from Cape Tribulation. There's a walking track starting just to the left before the creek. A short walking distance, you’ll find a fork in the road. If you turn left, you’ll get to the swimming hole. There's a rope swing attached to the tree, which you can use to dive into the water. If you go right, you’ll get to an amazing area where you can swim at the left or just relax in the shallow part of the creek at the right side (it reminded me of the spa). Magical place.”
