Stewart Creek Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )

3700 Sparks Rd, The Colony, TX 75056, United States

“A perfect place to watch the sunset of any fine day. This place is beautiful with barbecue sets and multiple roof covered seating areas. The entry charge for a car is 10$ and the park closes at 7:30 PM in winters. There is a small bridge where one can walk comfortably. This is one of the less known places in Dallas and definitely a must visit.”

Sewell Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

601 University Dr, San Marcos, TX 78666, United States

“Great place to access the water and float. Bring your own or go to lion's. As long as it's not too busy the water is usually really nice. Avoid holidays at all costs. MLK weekend was hell and a uninterrupted sea of bodies. But it's usually nice.”

Jungle Surf Rentals

“The service was friendly and easy. We took the bike down residential streets and had lots of hills and turns lol.”

Matagorda Bay Nature Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

6420 FM Rd 2031, Matagorda, TX 77457, United States

“The airstream campsite is awesome. It is well maintained and comfortable. Mosquitos can be under control if you live in the RV and have spray on you outside. Be careful to let your dogs play in water besides the campsite since the sharp rocks or seashells will cut their paw pads.”

Jacobs Creek Park
4.3
( 8 reviews )

698 Jacobs Creek Park Rd, Canyon Lake, TX 78133, United States

“Military Park is ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING! Wildlife all over, that you stumble upon, walking through the wonderful wilderness trails along the winding beaches in Texas Hill County. If this ain't livin, I sure don't know what is! WOWWWEE! TOTALLY AMAZING! Everyone was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and POLITE! The place is clean and DEFINITELY worth checking into!”

Water's Edge Park
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

602 S Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78401, United States

“I'm going to say some things that I don't see anyone else saying. This place is starting to fall apart and I know the city knows because the items are removed. Even when I was there they were removing one of the basketball backdrops that had broken glass. Come on guys ...can you not have nice things? This is one playground that has equipment that is more motor driven and helps the kids practice their balancing skills. It's not like all of the other playgrounds in town that's just slides and some climbing places. If you want to get to the slide you have to work for it. There's also more benches here than a lot of the parks and if you know how to use it..some stationary adult exercise equipment. The main feature of course is the bay breeze and view. Though items are breaking, it is being actively maintained. There are also restrooms nearby which is not a common feature with most playgrounds.”

Moseley Park
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

1300 Honor Dr, DeSoto, TX 75115, United States

“Such a great pool/waterpark! My kids loved our visit and didn't want to leave even after 4 hrs. In 100+ degree weather. My kids (6,9,11) did the ward slides at least 20 times. It's also really inexpensive, providing a great value for family fun. Downsides: It sucks that you can't bring in food, only water. When I was there, the snack bar closed at 3 but the pool stayed open until 6, but even then, food couldn't be brought in. Also, the lifeguard who was watching the pool where kids come out of the slide did not seem to be very attentive. The first lifeguard that was there was great, but she they switched posts, the guy that came over wasn't very good. I decided to sit in the water near that area while my kids were using the slide so I could watch them.”
