“I love this park. It is a quiet little gem just north of the city. There is a fantastic playground and some large gathering areas at the top of the park. A disc golf course, soccer field, and some great walking trails. The beach is a bit of a walk down the hill from the parking lot. There are two trails that will lead you there. I have never seen more than a handful of families or others seeking a peaceful place down on the beach. You can walk north or south along the sandy beach for quite a way to find the perfect spot to sit and read.”

“Kinnickinnic State Park was a good state park that my dog and I just checked out today. The park had a pretty good amount of elevation change since it is up atop of a bluff area overlooking the St Croix and Kinnickinnic rivers. They have a nice beach and picnic area you can easily access after walking down a fairly steep paved hill trail. The picnic and beach area do not allow dogs in this area. There a few different parking lots throughout the park, which some have picnic areas, that you can park and get on a trail and hike through the well maintained trails through the woods. They have multiple bathroom facilities throughout the park.”

“Great time as always here.Clean not very crowded beach ,restrooms and changing rooms a plus.But you have to pay for the parking lot and for the beach as well.Stuff is checking the coolers so don't bring anything glass.”
