Wild River State Park
4.7
( 16 reviews )

b n, 39797 Park Trail, Center City, MN 55012, United States

“Nice park. Lots of wildlife. Camper cabins were decent. Terribly uncomfortable beds. I recommend an air mattress. Park staff was friendly. The hiking trails were good. You can't swim here the river isn't safe for swimming.”

Lake Bemidji State Park
4.7
( 10 reviews )

3401 State Park Rd NE, Bemidji, MN 56601, United States

“I’ve been coming to this campground since I was young and it still holds up after all these years. A clean and well kept campground with lots to offer. I loved exploring the bike trails and being able to walk to the bog from our site. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. It’s an added bonus to be close to town just in case.”

Iona's Beach Scientific & Natural Area (sna)
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:30 PM

3548 MN-61, Two Harbors, MN 55616, United States

“The sight of infinite waters of Lake superior, the rustling of pebbles amidst the waves and beautiful red pebbles create a unique experience. I'll definitely recommend a stop here along the north shore drive.”

Long Lake Public Beach
4.5
( 10 reviews )

New Brighton, MN 55112, United States

“It's a great place to come out and enjoy the beach and nature. It's best on days less crowded and busy. I've been here when it was ridiculously busy before and although it was still fun for everyone, keep in mind that there will not be a lot of parking spots as well as a place to sit near the beach. But you'll never know until you get there. So just go and have fun!”

Zippel Bay State Park
4.7
( 10 reviews )

3684 54th Ave NW, Williams, MN 56686, United States

“A nice park, I would call it the lake park. Great veiw of Lake of the Woods. A picnic area with nice beach area not fancy though. Trails are ok but not great. You come here for the lake view.”

Lake Byllesby Campground
4.5
( 8 reviews )

7650 Echo Point Rd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009, United States

“Excellent campground with super friendly & helpful camp hosts. Level concrete sites, most with lake views of some sort. Clean restroom/shower facilities, nice playgrounds, walking/bike path, firewood & light refreshments for purchase. Word of caution, the higher numbered sites do not have water at the site. It's easy to miss that if only booking off the map vs detail view. However, there is water available to fill tanks. Two stations at the dump station. Quiet park with a nice breeze off the lake. Highly recommend.”

Lake Louise State Park
4.4
( 10 reviews )

12385 766th Ave, Le Roy, MN 55951, United States

“Great mix of wood, prairie, & riparian landscape with well-kept trails & good signage. If you like easy hikes & nature photography, this is a great spot. I can't speak to the camping. Obviously, the car fee means it's $5-7 a day, unless you have a year pass for MN state parks.”
