Devil's Point

( 16 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

Admiralty Rd, Stonehouse, Plymouth PL1, United Kingdom

“Devils Point Park, also known as Western Kings, borders the waters of Plymouth Sound and the Tamar River which form a European Marine Site, made up of a Special Area of Conservation and a Special Protection Area. Also has a direct access from the yard, via the Stairway to Devon opened in 2013 and is part of the South West Coast Path. For centuries, families have said goodbye or welcomed loved ones on Royal Navy ships heading to and from Devonport Dockyard. Today, it is a great place to relax and watch the activity on the water, watch the boats go by or enjoy its nature and wildlife.”

Carne Beach
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Veryan, Truro TR2 5PF, United Kingdom

“Lovely beach, was a bit hairy down the narrow lane but worth it. Great beach for a swim, plenty of rock pools to poke about in.”

Gyllyngvase Beach
4.6
( 16 reviews )

Falmouth, United Kingdom

“Lovely clean beach, with clear blue sea! There is free toilets, a cafe and shops, a 15 minute walk from the harbour. Well worth a visit nice place!”

Jennycliff Beach
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

Staddon Ln, Plymouth PL9 9SP, United Kingdom

“A great little beach which has sadly been neglected and despite signage is still technically accessible, as such the danger is not clear, the path is ‘closed’ but accessible, the beach a appears to be open. The position of the beach often means is littered by debris from the sea. Sizeable nearby free public car park with free public toilets (be warned) and on occasion, though not this time the odd ice cream . There is a cafe which I have never frequented. If you like a walk it’s right on the south west coast path. I hope the the path is properly fixed and the beach made secure and truly accessible once more!”

Downderry Beach
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Deviock, Torpoint PL11 3LN, United Kingdom

“Not my favourite type of beach. It’s rather rocky, the views are a bit “meh”, lots of motor boats about so smells not nice either. Not the greatest swimming spot. Don’t think I’ll visit again. Downderry is a cute little town though. Pretty easy access to the beach, parking just over the road, public toilets near the beach entrance, pubs and cafés also close to the beach.”

Carlyon Bay
4.4
( 10 reviews )

Beach Rd, Carlyon Bay, Saint Austell PL25 3PH, United Kingdom

“Best beach in the St Austell Bay area. Great eating places and bar. Plenty of space but the car park gets full up on sunny days. Needs to have proper parking lanes marked out with cones and rope. Would fit a lot more cars in.”

Daymer Bay
4.5
( 8 reviews )

PL27 6SA, UK

“What a great place. Beautiful beach and an amazing blue river/sea. We were able to park next to the beach, very friendly parking attendants. Walked up the hill. The view from the top worth the walk up!!”

Hayle Swimming Pool
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

King George V Memorial Walk, Hayle TR27 4BL, United Kingdom

“My kids absolutely love this place but be warned it is FREEZING 🥶. My son lasted 20 mins and my daughter the full 2 hour session ! We had a large chips between the 2 kids for £3.60 which I thought was going to be 3 chips each but there were plenty for a 10&7 year old, they also had a lolly and a drink each. Parking is easy and also can access Hayle beach from this point if you do not wish to pay for parking at the carpark up top.”
