“First time getting a wax done. I was super nervous. But as soon as I got there, I felt comfortable. I got a Brazilian and It did hurt a little (obviously) but she made it quick and made sure I was okay. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. The service was Incredibly fast, accurate and most important tolerable. I was given detailed information for the aftercare and was given information care card, oil stick, and card of the woman who did my wax.”

“Moved to ames in July and was looking for a new stylist for my curly hair. I have am on low dose chemo for a chronic illness and need special attention to detail 😅 Let's just say Alexa is PHENOMENAL for this. She listened, she knows her stuff, she knew EXACTLY what to do for my poor damaged hair too. THEN, when I had my first joint replacement surgery Trinity did my braids (that stayed for well over a week!) SO I wouldn't have to worry about doing my hair post-op! I am in LOVE with this salon 😍 and the people in it. Cannot recommend these people enough!”

“This was my first-time getting services at this nail shop and the quality of the work I received was not up to par for the amount of money that I had spent for a deluxe pedicure and short acrylic nails. It seems like the bare minimum was done when I got my nails done. The customer service was great but the quality sucked. My nails should not look like they need a fill the same day of getting them done.”

“Checked in online yesterday and drove to the location. Checked in again at store and showed me as in store with a short wait. Stylist I chose finished with her client and cleaned up. She should have seen I was waiting in store. She came back to the register and another client walked in and she removed my name from the On Deck list and cut his hair. Sorry I was not going to wait again so informed the other stylist and walked out.”

“I’ll start by saying I rarely post negative reviews, but hopefully this prevents against someone having the same experience. Monday evening I stopped in to get a dip fill before leaving for a trip early Tuesday morning. I didn’t have an appointment but there was only one other customer in there at the time and they had no problem getting me in. The woman that did my nails said that she had a better gray polish with gel and I should go with that instead. Right there was my biggest mistake in not following my instincts and getting dip as I have been repeatedly for years. The woman that did my nails was very friendly and attentive, and I even gave a 30% tip for my service as a result. She said her gel nails last for 2 weeks. By Tuesday morning of my trip (less than 12 hours from my service), one of my nails had the gel completely gone. A few hours later, another on the same hand. I just returned from my trip last night and I have zero gel left on any of my nails (4.5 days later!). My nails are completely brittle and dry and I now will be going to spend $60+ to get a completely new dip set done. Unfortunate to say the least. Go with your instincts of what you want.”
