I want to change from a stud to a ring later on so Jess took her time making sure it was placed in the correct spot for when I'm going to change it! The place looked very clean and minimalistic and all of their tools were sterilized, I am so happy I chose this place!”

“I love Sephora but the service at this location is the worst. I couldn't find anyone to help, I had a list of items to purchase. I finally grabbed what I could find and left. When I was asked if I found everything okay, I said no and that I couldn't find anyone to help me. She responded with "oh, sorry about that" and didn't bother to ask what I wanted.”

“Two stars for some alright experiences I had before. Twice the estheticians were just not knowledgeable or maybe not in the mood enough. Another time I waited 15 min for the esthetician to be done. My last attempt, I wasn’t a fan of how they handled a delay that I called to inform them about and they suggested I should just try to make it until I got super close but then they were like no it’s a minute more than what they were able to tolerate.”

“I've been to both the bathhouse and restaurant. The bathhouse is small, but nice. Locker rooms are very cramped, but the sauna, steam room and bath itself didn't feel overly crowded. Definitely make a reservation in advance. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Service was great. The food was a bit pricey for the portions, but tasty. The lamb skewers and gyoza were amazing. The Brussels, steak skewers, and soba noodles we're good but didn't stand out.”

“I’ve been to many spas both more low key and high end. I wished I read more reviews and believed them before I went. The environment isn’t very relaxing. It feels more like a gym sauna. The environment doesn’t feel super clean, but instead outdated and dirty. There aren’t that many activities or places to even sit and relax. When you do your scrub and massage, it’s in a communal space. I’ve never had a $150 massage in a communal space before. They limit you to 3 hours total at the spa even if you paid for the full service. At the end of the day, I think my body feels relaxed, but the actual massage and scrub was SO painful and rough. I didn’t feel relaxed during my time at all tbh. For the price of going here, I don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe if it were cheaper? There are better options nearby!”

“I am one of those people that has a hard time getting their hair cut. I often feel unheard by my stylist when I try someone new. Chri was so patient and kind with me. She made me feel completely at ease. I tend to like a classic cut. She gave me exactly what I wanted and made recommendations for things I’d like to try with her in the future. My hair is the type that shows where it’s cut and she knew exactly how to blend her work. The salon itself is light and airy, a truly relaxing environment. The staff was lovely. It’s the best feeling to love your hair after a visit to the stylist and I love my hair.”

The entire team at Blake Charles is so warm and welcoming. Shout out to Paige for brows and Anita for color — always a pleasure to visit this beautiful salon.”

“To be clear, I have never been to Mike's Barber Shop, but Google has asked me so many times to rate this place, I figured I would attempt to scratch their itch. Mike's is across the street from a frequent bus stop of mine and from many times of sitting across the street from this joint, I can tell you that the overall vibe of the place is awesome. Very welcoming and neighborly. The individuals who leave seem exceptionally pleased with their treatments. As a woman who has no beard, does not require shaving [not in public, at least], and who has a nearly waist length mop of curls, this place is not a great fit for me personally, but I love how vibrant the place is and the energy that it adds to that corner. It even looks pretty at night. :)”
