The food was not great, but they were very attentive to our requests for spaghetti boiled softly, no chili or peppers, etc., so we were very satisfied as well. There was a bad waitress at the poolside restaurant who ignored customers when she made eye contact with them and had a brusque and blunt attitude, but the other waiters, hotel receptionist, and cleaning staff were very nice. The pool temperature was 32 degrees Celsius, and the water was not cold, so I was able to swim comfortably. “It was a fun and nice calming nature experience. Good food really heavy meals. Nice ambience cozy rooms feels like natures home. River trip is outside the vicinity and you go for a walk in the community. Hiking is inside the area a lot of uphill steeps. Has a play area for kids. Game room with small court, table tennis, billiards (table and taco is in bad condition.) Has a nice pool to dip in. Many cabanas and places to chill n relax. We got the couple package for ₱5400 casita room w/ bfast and lunch overnight. Overall its a good place to be with nature and peaceful environment. Staffs are also friendly. We had to problem at all. They had bonfire at night too.”

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed that provided a great night's sleep but the first night our air conditioner wasn’t working or doesn’t cooling down but we asked to move different room and we have no problem with it. The hotel's location was perfect, close to mall. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to choose from. Our favorite was the divided pools with different section of kids pools.”

At P1390, the breakfast buffet could provide more options but the coffee was good and we were delighted regardless. Earlier breakfast serving times apart from 6am could be put in as convention staffers/wedding attendees who need to be at their venues by 8am cannot leisurely enjoy breakfast. These are minor nitpicks but definitely 5 star service from this hotel.”

“What a fantastic hotel! Check in was so easy, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My travel companions noticed that there was a few items left in the fridge when we checked in and it was removed immediately with a sincere apology from the manager. Plus they sent us up a fruit tray, a dessert plate and arranged some cute “animal” towels for our inconvenience. I personally have NEVER gotten that kind of service before!! Hands down the hotel is a must book! The rooms are very clean, well maintained and the room with the king bed and bunk beds upstairs was unique and spacious. I will stay here again. Definitely!!!”

“We came on a weekday and it was not busy. They have 2 pools and are well maintained, if you like to train then this place is for you. Facilities are lean and maintained. “Basic but Very Comfortable. Located in a central area close to many restaurants and convenience stores. Staff are efficient and friendly. One thing I am impressed with is how spacious Hop Inn is. The lobby was inviting and wide, the room and bathroom space were similar to what I can get at a luxury hotel. Bring your own toiletries as only some form of shampoo / body wash is provided. There are glasses in the room, and water dispensers by the elevator. No electric kettle, but the water dispensers also have hot water. The elevator can also be really slow (two small elevators operating the entire hotel), so make some accommodations for that in your schedule.”

“We came here for our PADI Open Water Diver and had the best time! Luna is a wonderful teacher with loads of knowledge and experience. Also the rest of the staff there were always super kind and helpful. The resort itself is very beautiful especially the shared bathrooms and the pool. Great location just a couple of steps away from the beach, where there's a beautiful reef to explore (we saw several sea turtles, colourful corals and fish). After finishing our course we got to go to Apo Island, where we had the most amazing diving experience so far. Plenty of sea turtles again, clear water and the most diverse creatures we've seen to this point. We're definitely coming back again and will recommend Bongo Bongo divers to anybody looking for a great diving experience!”

“Location is great ample space to park. Road going to resort needs to be resurfaced due to pot holes making cars semi difficult to drive. Customer Service/Management was pleasant and easy to talk to. Always willing to help most of the time. Food is great from Filipino dishes to American dishes. Shakes are seasonal surprising they didn’t have coconut shake. We got to do some kayaking and swam the beach. They had an endless pool which was great for kids since it’s not deep. Rooms could be better. The CASA rooms are acceptable but a major flaw is the bathrooms. This my major two cents here. “If you build it they will come” literally I mean make the bathrooms workable from the shower heads, heater, toilet lids. The one I was at had the lid falling apart. If they had beautiful bathrooms they would increase tourist by 50%+ just by renovating the BATHROOM. Don’t get me wrong I really like the place but experiencing sub standard amenities especially the bathrooms it becomes a disappointment for any visitors. Last thing is invest on a good wifi for the guest. The one I used was cutting off/on.”
