“We had a wonderful stay at Da Renzo. We stayed for 3 nights and luckily the restaurant was open on the Saturday night which was the icing on the cake. It was one of the best dinners we had in Sardinia. The lobster spaghetti I particularly loved. The pool is great and the tennis court is perfect. We had one of the double rooms and one of the larger rooms - I would definately recommend going for the larger rooms, they’re worth the small extra cost. As for the staff, Ahmed and Davide are such lovely people and it was a joy to have them look after us. Thank you for making our stay so special!”

“As a tourist wanting something more authentic and local other than seafood pasta and pizza, this was totally satisfying. A 9 course cuisine which consists of various cured meats, cheese, bread, pasta, suckling pig and veal, veg n fruit, coffee and alcohol. Sounds simple but traditionally made, locally grown, bread and sourced. Only problem we had was that we could only eat half of what was given as the portions where just too much. Some things I would have never ordered but glad I have tried. It was quite a positive experience and the service was excellent.”

“This hotel is not 4 Stars standard, I stayed in 3 Stars which was better than this. To start off the room is very small, the bed is so hard, they offer 1 skinny pillow, and there are a lot of bugs in the room. The toilet is old old-fashioned, low water pressure in the shower which has mould on the floor, there is a terrible smell coming back from the pipes, and the hairdryer is absolutely waste, never seen anything like it. The hotel doesn’t offer ironing for “safety reason”, but offer an ironing service, as if we will pay for 20kg of luggage to be ironed. The only thing that saves this hotel is the staff, they are very friendly, kind and always so helpful, except a manager during the breakfast that kept giving out to the waitress’ team. The housekeeping was also very good. To finish off, the swimming pool is so so so salty, that I tried to swimming for 10 min and my eyes and mouth were badly affected. The beach on front is ok, but not the best either.”

“Good hotel! Rooms were clean and had everything needed. However, two drawbacks: (1) some rooms are noisy due to the road noise, (2) breakfast is not too well organised, (3) pool closes super early at 7pm. However, good enough for a few days in the area, and reception is very keen and kind. Hence the 4 stars. Just improve on some of these points!”

“We stayed here in July 2022. Wonderful little hotel located in the heart of San Teodoro. Breakfast is great and varied, there is a great pool area and rooms are clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and we felt very well looked after by the whole team. The hotel is in a perfect location - you are a 5 minute walk from the centre of San Teodoro where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops and a buzzy atmosphere most evenings during the summer. It is also possible to reach nearby beach Cala D'Ambra by foot (about 15 minutes) as well as the popular and beautiful La Cinta beach (about 30 minutes by foot). Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend to anyone considering a visit to San Teodoro.”

“The room was OK. No tea or coffee making facility; a very creaky bed; wash basin tap wobbly (almost detached from basin) and a bedside lamp also loose. The hotel is halfway up a steep hill in the charmingly dilapidated old town and inaccessible to our tour bus but the hotel kindly collected our cases and returned them to our bus on departure. There is also a frequent minibus on route 8 past the hotel. Having described the quite minor defects, I must praise the staff and the public areas. Everyone is polite, friendly and helpful, and the reception area, bar and restaurant are beautifully decorated and are a real art gallery. The breakfast was splendid and, as well as the usual cold meats, cheese, croissants, etc, included scrambled or poached eggs and omelette cooked on request, and a tempting range of cakes!”

“This place is run down and understaffed the pool bar isn’t open during day even though staff are sitting around doing nothing. We asked to use a pool towel and on check out where charged €3 each which was never mentioned when I asked for them.. To use sun beds at beach is also €30. The breakfast “buffet” was just bread, spreads a few cakes and juice it was so bad we began taking our own items for breakfast. Beds are rock hard and not enough blankets for all beds. Wouldn’t recommend and will never return.”

“Seafront hotel, we didn't stay overnight, but we had the continental buffet breakfast at a cost of €12 per person. Excellent and plentiful, sweet and savory, with also seasonal and local fruit. Special requests are charged separately (see dedicated menu). There are outdoor and indoor tables. Excellent and simple management of anticovid measures: disinfectant gel for hands and gloves. The hotel Cala Luna supports the Cala Gonone aquarium, it is also possible to book the aquarium room. We visited also the rooftop sky bar - the real highlight of the hotel - for a couple of drinks: the view is lovely and romantic. You are greeted with a smile and the overall service is great. The cocktail menu is full of proposals, including non-alcoholic ones, a free buffet is included.”
