“Very pleasantly surprised with the quality and friendly/helpful staff at this resort. We took advantage of the pool, dry and steam sauna. The food was very good and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. There is a short walk to the beach but once there, it is amazing!”

“Fantastic hotel in the centre of Funchal, a 10 minute walk from the main Square. Although in the main area, it's quite quiet as in front of the hotel, there is the Scots Kirk and gardens and to the side the local park. There are no really steep hills from the main area to the hotel. The rooms aren't the largest we have been in, but are more than big enough for your stay. The rooms were cleaned every day, as was the rest of the hotel. There are lifts to every floor, including the rooftop bar. The breakfast every morning was very nice. The rooftop bar has nice views and a swimming pool. Our room No.316 faced South, so we got the sun most of the day. The staff were polite and friendly.”

“Very pleasant stay with nice and tidy rooms. We were very pleased with the reception service - special thanks to Nuno. He proactively helped us to switch rooms despite the hotel being completely full (with the manager on the line, so special thanks to them as well). Very lovely and perfectly managed garden. A bit of walk to the city center, but with the bus stop a front of the door, so not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again next time visiting Madeira.”
