“We stayed four nights on a powered tent site. The site was HUGE. Excellent access to water and power. Grassy, if a little dry (January). Really good bathroom facilities and excellent camp kitchen - one of the best I've ever seen. Bring your own shade gazebo while the young trees are growing. Also bring an impact driver/drill for pegs - the ground is super hard. Easy access to the main resort facilities. We did archery and thoroughly enjoyed it. Heaps of kangaroos around every evening. Thoroughly recommend this place.”

The highlight of the trip was the spa treatments especially the hot stone massage. The staff are so nice and friendly and very welcoming and professional. If we didn’t feel like going into town for dinner or to buy a meal to have back at the house we enjoyed the tasty platters of food provided.”

“Stayed in a 2 bedroom spa chalet. Check-in was easy & staff were lovely. Parking was right out the front of the chalet, which was very convenient. The chalet is a little dated but well appointed. Really well-appointed, dog friendly caravan park. Great pool, jumping pillow & playground for the kids. Rated 4 stars purely due to the cleanliness of the room, I'd say it was average at best, lots of sand everywhere including on the beds when we checked in, dusty & the spa bath/shower was pretty grubby. Other than that, loved our stay & we will be back!”

Only cons are - rooms are not sound proof so can be quiet loud at night, no windows, and some rooms smells quite musty, and no microwave. “The place was a perfect place to stay with beautiful surroundings, an easy walk to town, and 15 minute drive to the beach. Beautiful outdoor areas to relax, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchens and was close to bush walking trails. We were there over a couple of unusual very hot days and some of the bedrooms were a tad warm during this time, but besides that was amazing and highly recommend.”

“Have stayed here previously in a cheaper room and had better experience! Paid extra for the top floor and king bed Only to get there and have two single matresses slapped together and covered in a blanket without a quilt cover on it, room smelt funny an arrival, no mini bar when it stated there was, asked reception and they said you have to go down to the lobby to get something when you want it...defeats the purpose of a mini bar...shower leaked throughout the bathroom soaking the floors and no towel to mop up, more dated than the cheaper rooms which is disappointing considering we were charge $780 for two nights... On arrival my self and my partner where there for all of 15mins when a member of staff barged into the room with their own key, no knocking no indication they were entering, also holding a security deposit longer because of the holiday season is not our fault and at liberty of the hotel there was no indication of deposits needed to begin. Still awaiting security deposit. Also parking is daylight robbery, $30 per car per day! Ontop of the room charge Will not be coming back...”

“Rooms are in need of an upgrade, very 90's/00's feel about the place down to the "best vacation winner" awards from 20 years ago (2002/2003) placard in the lobby lol. It's not bad, the rooms have everything one needs, just we had come from another place that had just had an upgrade so it really highlighted the age of this particular room/building and the fixtures and fittings are working fine just 30 years old. Where led lights have been put these are the first gen ones and some were still fluorescent tubes (yuck!). Annoying to have to switch on light switchs then mess with remotes to get the cheap lights to turn on off. These are minor issues however as the place has a friendly concierge and great views from the room and everything you need is included (plates, bowls etc etc). Just old fashioned by today's standards. Mind little ones hands in the pool as my youngest cut himself rather badly (he was silly and put his hands in the pools side vent thingy but kids do these stupid things) there was a full first aid kit there which was handy to patch him up.”
