“What a spectacular hotel. Fantastic location, a 5-10 minute to so many incredible sites. Very clean room, bathroom, and lobby space. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge were so nice to have. Even though the hotel was right on the street the rooms were so quiet at night. If we go to Florence again we will absolutely stay here.”

“Stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff! This was the best stay we had during our 2.5 week trip to Italy. Truly a 5 star stay, nothing compares to the hospitality at Il Borro. All the restaurants on site were absolutely delicious. They have so many experiences on site such as horseback riding, wine tasting, and cooking classes. We took part in a wine and cheese tasting where we also got a tour of the distillery. Since we went in the off season it ended up being a private wine tasting. Our room was in the restored medieval village which was an experience on its own. We have not been able to stop raving about our time at Il Borro to our friends and family we highly recommend staying here! Hope to visit again one day!”

“All staff were very helpful and there was always someone around to help. Everyone always had a smile on their face which meant that everyone felt very approachable. Lovely service! The general atmosphere was welcoming and safe. There were activities you could join if you felt like it but were also able to have a quiet night if that was what you wanted. The free pasta for dinner and drink voucher was also very generous and much appreciated. A range of ages were visiting, even some families with kids. This was nice to see a lot of different people enjoying the space. There was also the opportunity to join activities in the night if you wanted to experience a bit more of a party atmosphere. Being right near the tram and very close to the train station made our stay even easier to visit Florence.”

“Very happy I booked this hotel for my family and friends. Hotel Pendini can be found across high-end stores and centrally located in Florence's must see spots. The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. Loved the decor and atmosphere of the hotel and the rooms. They also had a room for 4 people which is not easy to find in Europe. The common area had a nice Christmas tree. The breakfast was fine, they had sufficient choices and made drinks to order. Since we were there for only one night we were out and about but if we had stayed in the tea time / wine hour would have been a good option in the afternoon. We didn’t mind at all the short flight of stairs to get to the elevator to get to reception when we checked in (my four year old daughter climbed them with ease.)”

“A very comfortable hotel, located close to Santa Maria Novella church and an easy walk to everywhere in central Florence. Staff was wonderfully helpful! Rooftop bar was delightful for drinks and views. The pool was great to have during the hot weather; the sparkling water was cold but refreshing. The garden area around the pool was a wonderful respite from the busy Florentine streets. Rooms were simply appointed but with everything that was needed, with very comfortable beds; the rooms were spotless. Breakfasts were included and delicious, with a wide variety of foods. Other meals were not available at the hotel. Although the prices were high in peak season, we felt the amenities were worth it and would definitively stay there again.”
