“I enjoyed my stay at the B&B Hotel in Diano Marina. The hotel was located in a more quiet part of the city which was ideal for me. The room was clean, the linens new, and the room was refreshed daily. The staff were friendly and made good recommendations on places to eat and park the car. One particular gentleman in reception was very kind, he often came to meet me at the front doors and would carry my bike up the stairs for me. The staff in the breakfast lounge were pleasant and friendly. I would return to stay here again.”

“I stayed here for 6 nights. Small single room. The room is not spacious, but the ceiling is high and there is no feeling of stuffiness. It was a good sized room to stay alone. Bedding is clean. Clean and well maintained every day. The only drawback is that the shower booth is small. I’m not sure if this is a common size. All the staff I met there were very very kind and friendly. You can see the sea from the room. This hotel is heading east, you can see the sunrise every morning in the hotel. The beach is right in front so you can go for a walk at any time. The Imperia promenade was very well organized. Very beautiful. The food in the breakfast room was simple but fresh. I had a really relaxing time here. Highly recommended for those looking for reasonable accommodation.”

“A small paradise. Lovely view, quiet, always enough beds in the garden. Very good sauna and whirlpools. Our apartment was big. Great to have so much space. “This place is very special. It’s a hidden gem that I want to keep all to myself but they deserve the business from everyone. The service is phenomenal and the rooms are updated and well maintained with very nice views. The staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive, from the restaurant, to the front desk, to the cleaning crew, to the porters. The location is a bit away from the popular touristy areas but still good. There is no train station in this town but the ferry is right in front of the hotel and taxis are easy to obtain (or you can rent a car). The area itself is beautiful and peaceful and quiet at night (the restaurants all shut down before midnight so no real nightlife). Staying here is like living inside a dream. A great place for artists, dreamers, and those that want to immerse themselves in a picturesque Italian coastal town, while still staying in luxurious and convenient accommodations.”

It has an outside pool and exercise room should you wish to use them and a comfortable patio area. The food is excellent and the staff friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.”

“I loved stayed at Palazzo Grillo. The location is ideal. The building's public spaces are exquisite. The breakfast is very good (despite the automated machine-made coffee) and is served on a delightful terrace. The staff is lovely. We stayed in a "Jr Suite Deluxe" with a nice view of the square. The room was not huge (although it is one of the largest the hotel offers) or luxurious, but was very comfortable for two people, with good storage for clothing and a small reading nook. I appreciated the minimalist design, the bare (clean) floors, and the chic, retro Smeg fridge. The bed was very comfortable. My one complaint is the bathroom. It was spacious, with a window — however, frustratingly, it is poorly designed, with a silly modern rimless sink and no rack or shelf to store toiletries. (We ended up having to shove the towels / hairdryer / tissues in the closet to make space in the bathroom.)”

“The hotel has a beautiful and central location, nice and clean rooms. The pool was pleasantly quiet and the lifeguard was a nice guy. We had booked a room with sea view and had no sea view when standing on the balcony. You had to lean over the railing to see the sea. When we complained about this we were not offered a solution. The breakfast was good and there is nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, dinner was a disaster. When we wanted to return overcooked food, they were not able to offer a better menu. We wanted to give the kitchen another chance and tried a second time. We were disappointed, although we had no more expectations. The Italian cuisine a wonderful, but that cuisine has nothing to do with one. It is possible to make simple dishes very tasty, but this was not possible here. A shame for a restaurant that offers Italian cuisine. At least the drinks of the bar were good, so you could still recover the evening. The driver of the shuttle is super nice and drives decently.”

“From the lifeguards at the beach who picked up my towel when it had fallen on the ground and kept an eye out for a better placed lounger to become available so I wouldn't get burned, to the housekeepers, bar staff, doorman and front desk staff, everyone was incredibly charming, thoughtful and polite. I had a wonderful stay here in the summer and didn't want to leave! The setting is of course beautiful, very well maintained grounds and building. The only downside I can think of was the occasional vulgar behaviour of a minority of the other guests, but that can't be helped by the hotel themselves, who don't get to chose their clientele! Definitely worth booking if you're searching for that old-world italia/belle epoque 5-star experience. I can't wait to come back!”

“Nice hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. All nice and clean but dated and unfortunately our bath was not clean but compared to the rest of the room, it must have been an oversight. Lovely balcony. Downsides were VERY thin walls which was a little awkward when next door were enjoying afternoon shenanigans as we felt like we were in the room with them! Not enough parking as we discovered our car blocked in so had to back to ask for help and wait whilst they moved all the cars to allow ours out.”
