“Nice little hotel with great views over the lake. Breakfast and lunch was very good but the dinner was very underwhelming. They obviously (as the prices point out) have the ambition to make fine dining food but either the tastes are going in all directions or not there at all. We had high expectations for the night but left the dinner very disappointed. I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel but eat your dinner elsewhere.”

“Only visited the restaurant. I was really disappointed given the fantastic reviews and maybe we visited on an off day. The service was so poor I ate my dish alone while my partner watched as they didn’t make his. We had to ask twice for his main meal. The food is average at best. Pizza was basic and pasta very plain. We were staying in Crimea and didn’t revisit. Also a very obvious favouritism for Italians over tourists which I understand but it created an awful atmosphere I wanted to leave once eaten.”

“Farmhouse known on the occasion of a birthday. Large room on 2 levels. Ample parking We eat very well. Quality cured meats and cheeses. Unlike other diners who tasted a first mushroom risotto, I ate tagliolini with wild boar ragù. Amazing! The staff is very kind and attentive to all requests. They are currently nearing completion for the renovation of the external area. Only one flaw: to get to the place you have to travel along a piece of unpaved road, so be careful for those with excessively low cars.”

“Nice place to stay if you want to visit Milan, and don’t want to pay hundreds of euros for hotels in the centre. It’s about 1.5 hour by bus and metro to the centre. Be careful if you are under 18, and you are travelling without your parents, they won’t book you without an authorization signed by both parents. But in the end we enjoyed our stay and we can recommend this hotel.”

We are already fascinated by the place, the fireplace and, for those who like, the cats that are seen from the garden and even cuddle ... An ideal lunch: appetizer with local salami and vegetables from the kitchen garden; followed by a delicious carnaroli risotto with white pinot wine and rosemary. As a main course a roast loin rollé with fig cream accompanied by baked potatoes. The wine? Local of course! "Il Distinto": a nice red wine. We came out with a smile! I recommend it!”

The location of this hotel is great, which is just near the Milan central station and the metro “Caiazzo” station, and it only takes 5 minutes to them by walking. “The rooms don’t look like the pictures - they’re much smaller and the view isn’t worth paying for the trees block most of it if you’re not on the top floor. We booked a deluxe room with a bubble bath (which is standard according to the description of the room) we got a shower that wasn’t even a square meter big. After complaining about the room not being up to standard we got a different one the next day. Here we did got the bubble bath but I you wanted to have a quick shower we had to hold the shower head so I didn’t fall on our heads while showering. During the breakfast I asked the staff what kind of spreads that were presented (allergy wise) All 3 of them didn’t know. When we arrived nobody came to held with our suitcases (which we don’t mind) but then half an hour later a couple arrived in a Porsche and the staff even brought the trolley and helped lifting the suitcases from the car. It’s not because we arrived in “a normal Audi” that we don’t deserve the same treatment. The night guard didn’t speak English and was most of the time no where to be found. We didn’t like our stay - the services was below zero for the price we paid. The only good thing this hotel did was hiring Sara at the reception.”
