“I love staying at the Sir Anthony, and couldn't wait to return after their amazing refurbishment. We checked in on the day they reopened - and I cannot speak highly enough about how the staff greeted us. We felt like royalty! The rooms are beautiful and relaxing, the pool warm and inviting, the restaurant amazing. But my biggest kudos for this hotel goes to the amazing staff. There isn't a single person who doesn't make you feel special. Everyone is friendly and helpful and truly can't do enough for you. Special thanks go to Naomi for her help from the beginning of our stay to the very end. She and all the staff at the Sir Anthony are a credit to the hotel. We've already booked our return visit for next April. Can't wait!”

“Really beautiful location and very well presented hotel. Very clean and staff are very helpful. The pool area and loungers are really nice. Bar and food prices are reasonable. Our first visit and may come back again. Our only issue would be when going to the bar restaurant for food or drinks is that there was on many occasions only one member of staff. As nice and helpful as this person was it would be sometimes a 15 minute wait for a drink when there was only 4 people at the bar. Don't be put off by my issue, it is well worth a visit. If hotel management read this then please be aware that you are losing a lot of money by people getting frustrated and going elsewhere for there refreshments.”

“We call in here to use the Cafe/Bar for a drink while out walking, usually around midday. The beer they serve is of great quality and nice and cool at a fair price. It would be nice to have a meal while visiting but there are never any menus out so I don't know if a lunchtime servis is available.”

“Liked The apartment itself is large and spacious. The shower was great, the jacuzzi was temperamental at first but it was amazing afterwards. Fine sized TV and the large terrace was great to spend time on. Beds were a nice large double bed and pretty comfortable. And the receptionists were very kind and helpful. Dislikes The walls are paper thin, and you can hear the movements of other residence from the floors above and below, luckily they were quiet most nights but tended to be louder, with music, singing and dancing on Friday and Saturday night. The WiFi in the apartment isn’t good at all. The area itself didn’t really meet expectation, the city was okay and in walkable distance as was the beach. The rooms were only cleaned every second day and not all on Sundays, so in a 7 night stay our room was only cleaned twice. One of the days cleaning was arranged for 12pm, so we left, only to come back at 1:50 and the cleaner was outside smoking and wanted to clean our room when we came back. And was very rude when we told her we needed 15 minutes to get ready before leaving again. One night there was a stampede outside the accommodation over 2 rival gangs with what sounded like gunshots. When informed the accommodation, nothing was said. There is a lot of graffiti around telling nomads and tourists to “go home”. The rest of the island is suffering a migrant problem with thousands coming in per week. I would completely avoid Las Palmas and look at going to any other island in the Canary’s.”

“We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed being based there for a cycling holiday. It's budget accommodation, so expect basic. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. It's right by the beach, supermarket and bike hire directly opposite, hypermarket 5 mins walk, self catering, small pool. Some reviews mention noise but it is on the road that leads to the beach, so it's not super quiet, but it never bothered us at all. We will definitely return next year and are already planning to stay here again.”

“Very very good!! Lovely room, large, quiet, central location, check-in staff were very friendly and spoke english and recommended eateries which was very useful. The shower floods a little due to the shower tray design but a mop is provided so it's not a problem. There's bars and restaurants nearby, parking is on the street but we had no problem finding a parking space each day (visited beginning january 22). Beautiful garden with amazing tropical plants! Thankyou! We'll definitely stay again!”
