“This place is a true gem. We stayed two nights on the floating chateau bungalows on the lake. It was a very unique experience unlike any we’ve ever had. They boat you out to the bungalow, and provide for your every need including delivering meals by boat. The main chateau lodge itself is extraordinary, as are the grounds, and the staff is impeccable across the board. We were here at the end of November and it rained most of the time, but it was a wonderful and very relaxing stay. This place has a magical quality to it that makes it very special.”

We stayed one night in a "Suite mon seul reve", beautifully decorated with many historical objects all over the suite, huge comfortable bed, spacious rooms, with beautiful views of garden and vineyards. We loved the dinner at chateau, crystal & silver tableware, very intimate and privet atmosphere, delicious food, wine and top service. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast in the room and in the afternoon we had our wine tour & tasting. Haven't seen more luxurious winery.”

“We had a lovely stay in an ocean front room at Hôtel de la Plage. All of hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The location can’t be beat- being able to leave our room and be settled on the beach in a few minutes was wonderful! The room was comfortable and although it could get a bit noisy later in the evening with the window open, we enjoyed listening to the waves and fresh ocean air. I would love to stay here again if back in St. Jean de Luz!”
