“This hotel was disgusting. To start the entire second floor is full of mold and you can smell it in all of the rooms. I went in summer and of course there's no air conditioning so the entire hotel is stifling hot, Don't even think about opening the window or the door because if you do flies gnats and mosquitoes will come into your room and buzz around your head all night and eat you alive. I actually got sick from staying there. The breakfast had actual bugs crawling in it I was absolutely astounded. I had to check out after the first night and the only reason I stayed the first night was because the hotel refused to refund my money. Then they locked me out of the hotel at 2 AM when I went to my car to get my phone charger and there is absolutely no evening stuff available to let you back in so I slept in my car for 4 hours. Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel you will be grossly disappointed and the stuff is very rude.”

“I've had two spectacular meals here so far. I'd have even more, but they close one day a week, and I felt I should give other places a try, too. The welcome and service are warm, the beer is fresh and tasty, and the food exceptional. My first dinner featured the special of the day, a tasty mushroom cream soup with bits of bacon followed by a gargantuan, wonderfully crispy goose thigh. The second was even better, an amazing, rich and tasty "grey cheese' soup and then their wonderful version of Zwiebelrostbraten (tender beef topped with crispy onion, and accompanied by handmade noodles). Can't wait to see what other delights the menu offers. Highly recommended!”

“All in all it was ok except for a couple of negative incidents. The area is nice for hill-walking and biking. Our room was roomy and clean and the staff very friendly. The heating was not on and it was a bit chilly especially in the bathroom in the mornings. We got an electric heater after we mentioned that it was too cold but I don't think we should have had to mention it, the heating should just be on. On the first morning at the breakfast buffet, the tea tasted funny and the milk in it turned sour. It turned out it was probably (according to the staff) due to the fact that a citric acid descaler is used to clean to samovar and it hadn't been rinsed properly afterwards. The reactions of the staff could have been more active instead of waiting for us to ask for tea-water from a different source.”

“We were only staying in Kitzbuhel for one night at the end of a ski trip, and most places in Kitzbuhel / Kirchberg either wanted a full 7-night stay or $600+ for a single night, which seemed very steep. We checked in around 9pm & probably should have paid closer attention to the hotel amenities as we may have cut dinner short in Kitzbuhel to get the most use out of the amenities. It is not simply a 'hotel' but a beautiful resort and spa, so we regret only spending 12 hours there, basically to sleep and have breakfast. The grounds were beautiful, the spa looked amazing, the rooms were plush, and the views amazing. There was a EUR80 upcharge for a 2nd person to cover breakfast which is a little steep for a continental breakfast, but this was no ordinary continental breakfast. It was an amazing breakfast buffet. The only recommendation I would have would be for the hotel to have a bigger covered parking area, as there seemed to be room for only 8-10 cars, with the rest parked along the road outside. Not a big deal, as we only had a dusting of snow the night before, but I imagine would be a little more inconvenient with huge dumps of snow. A 4*-5* experience, we just wished we could have spent longer and enjoyed more of the facilities. Panorama is on our list of places to go back to, and even if you are skiing in Kitzbuhel and don't want to pay the over-inflated Kitzbuhel prices, it is a great option with a 25-30 minute drive to the Fleckalmbahn Gondola (The hotel does offer a ski shuttle but it only serves the Skiwelt Brixen area and not Kitzski)”
