“On the positive side, the hotel boasts a beautifully curated Boho-style interior that adds a touch of charm to the ambiance. The rooftop provides a stunning panoramic view that is truly a highlight of the stay. In terms of amenities, the room is well-equipped with essentials, including a refrigerator, kettle, and ample storage space. The breakfast buffet is decent, offering a variety of fresh fruits, bread, and cereals to cater to different tastes. However, there are some notable downsides to consider. The coffee served at the hotel, though coming from a machine with multiple options, left much to be desired in terms of flavor. Additionally, despite the hotel being relatively empty during my visit, the enforced three designated breakfast times seemed rigid and less accommodating for a leisurely vacation schedule. Another concern is the potential for noise disturbances. The thin walls make it easy to hear activities in neighboring rooms, including showers and other daily routines. This could pose a significant inconvenience, especially during peak occupancy periods. The parking situation is also worth mentioning. The hotel's private underground garage has limited spaces and comes with a steep nightly fee of 20 EUR. Fortunately, there are parking options on the street directly in front of the hotel, albeit at a cost. However, savvy guests may find free parking in the nearby side streets, which are just a short two-minute walk away.”

“We loved our time at Orbitur. The location is top, the staff is top. The bungalows are super charming and vintage. For everyone who complains here that they need to be updated, there are *so many* places in Portugal recently that have been "updated" and lost all of the things that make them so special and so memorable (as opposed to some neutral scandi-design without soul). The whole place is about being in the moment, being in nature, living without all of the amenities that we've gotten used to and enjoying the simplicity and joy of summer. Having said that, a few things that I would bring from home next time: a good knife for cutting tomatoes and bread and chouriço, a small cutting board, small bottles of olive oil, vinegar and sea salt (although all of this is available on the island). Also, there is no ATM on the island and most places don't have Multibanco so bring cash. Our time here will stay in my memory as one of the highlights of summer. Enjoy it!”

We did not have cash to pay we were arrived, but they did not want us to stress it and helped us find a place to get money transferred the next day. They also allowed us to keep our bags at the hostel so we could run around Lagos the next without the inconvenience of all our luggage. It was a pleasant experience thanks to the great staff!”

“It's like your own villa with friendly strangers. Very small.very quiet. You pay for what you get. And here you get a lot for what you pay OK, the breakfasts aren't the best..see above.toaster etc But they're easy fixes. I only saw four members of staff and all totally committed to service. Love everything about the place.”
