“Really good campsite, good size pitches with trees and hedges. Toilets and showers are first class and even the washing machine area! Looks like all just been renovated. Reception very friendly and welcoming and spoke some English. Site kept lovely and clean and tidy by staff..Great location nice 15walk to the sea. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again..”

“I loved the place , it’s cosy and has a nice garden outside. It’s also in a really good neighbourhood with access to most places conveniently. My room was always warm and I was well looked after. They even made sure there was gluten free bread available for me at breakfast. The staff was always helpful. Ms. Aline gave some really good tips on what to do and was always ready to help. The rest of the staff as well. Mr. Vincent actually came to pick me up himself from a park because we had a taxi situation which I appreciate greatly. The intern at the reception was always forthcoming and pleasant. You have to be prepared for a stay at a home more than a hotel though but rest assured I had no complaints. There was another young lady at the desk who was also kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend them.”

“Great location, doesn't feel suited for families. We (couple with two little kids) stayed in the family room for two nights. Though the location was really good, we found the room inconvenient for all of us : - We were on the second-third floor, there were many stairs and no lift that could take us to our room. In general, it's not an issue but when traveling with a baby stroller, it is. - The room had no closets for clothes, so we had to leave everything in our suitcases. - Though the room size (total) is not so small, it is organized pretty bad, leaving a very small space as a "living space". - We had a bag with dirty clothes, that the cleaning personnel managed to throw away, so don't leave bags with dirty cloth in the bathroom. On the positive side : - The location is really nice - The stuff that we had interaction with, seems to be nice - Probably our impression would be better if we were only two people in that room instead of 4.”

“Pretty disappointed after we thought we'd booked a nice boutique hotel. The building is beautiful from the outside and likewise the gardens are lovely. The bedrooms and much of the interior desperately needs updating. Feels like little has changed since the early 2000s and little maintenance has been done since to keep it looking fresh. The dinner and lunch food served in the restaurant looked good from what we saw. We didn't eat either but to get to our rooms we had to pass through the restaurant, which made it awkward as we checked in and had to drag our suitcases between patrons at their tables eating. The breakfast was terrible. A shame overall as we were really looking forward to staying here on a weekend away but it really was very overpriced for what it was.”

“A really great hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke great English. The location is incredible, inside the old city walls and right next to many places to eat, modern art museum Collection Lambert and the Palace of the Popes. The plane is made from 2 buildings that were connected together so there's some idiosyncrasies to the layout but if you want a boring predictable hotel with long boring hallways that all look the same go to Las Vegas. Europe is about the vibes. The daily breakfast was really next level, something I don't say often about a complimentary hotel breakfast. In conclusion it's a bit expensive but worth the price if you want a really comfortable experience in the center of Avignon. Great work L'équipe Horloge!”

“We had a very enjoyable stay at Domaine de La Briandais for 3 nights, a stay never to forget. When we arrived we were a bit disappointed with a small room with no airco, and the heat got us. The 2 ladies who welcomed have been moving mountains and did everything possible to make sure we got a great stay. They moved us to a bigger room on the north side, much cooler and spacious. Despite our complaints on arrival they always stayed very polite and friendly, a real royal feel for the clients. We enjoyed our stay so much that my wife wanted to stay an extra night, but had to drive back home. I do not know how to thank the whole team as they all went extra miles so that we could enjoy our holiday. Thank you, we will certainly be back and as well recommend to our friends.
