“The total experience was great. Spent 4 days there with our children and grandchildren. It was a brilliant experience. I want to go back but without the grandchildren 😀. The staff were great and genuinely friendly and welcoming. The environment was perfect and not a dull moment. The farm was an absolute amazing time for the children they went 3 times during our stay. Ok so a couple of moans. No washing machine in house. The air cooling was almost non existing. The lowest we could get the temperature down to was 24c. At night it went up to 25-26c. Not too comfortable when temps outside reached 29-31c. Would recommend and certainly go back again. Thank you all the staff and a special thanks to Robert vd Vliet for his taking the time to care for our older grandson. Ted”

“Great location, comfortable beds, kind service, but the noise coming from the bathroom when nearby rooms are showering makes it hard to sleep until they finish because the noise travels through wall and door. Reasonable buffet breakfast but a couple more options would have been welcomed.”

The hotel sits on a charming street and is situated near several key attractions and great restaurants & cafes, and the nearest tram is a short walk away. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but adequate, clean and very quiet. I would return if in Den Haag again.”

“Just off of the motorway.. We went here for dinner, I cannot comment on the rooms as I didn't stay over night. The restaurant is as you'd expect, tables well laid out and decorated nicely (a little too flowery for my taste) The cushions on the couches made it awkward to sit as they were so big, they look nice and that is about their only use. It was also exceptionally warm in the restaurant. Service was with a gentleman on his first day (he did a great job, very attentive). The food was very good, My partner however was very ill that night. He had prawn cocktail starter and salmon as a main course. I can only assume the prawns or fish was the cause as it was a late meal.”

“Great place to relax! Cozy rooms and friendly hosts and staff. Delicious breakfasts, they also serve lunch made from organic products, but unfortunately we were not able to use this service because lunch is served only from 12:00-15:00. But in the neighboring town there is an excellent Bistro of Peter and in the immediate vicinity there is a restaurant at the golf club. Peter's cuisine is very decent - we recommend it. On the territory of this boarding house there is a wonderful garden and an evening bar, open depending on the time of year until 17:00 or 18:00, respectively. If you want to experience city life, Amsterdam and Utrecht are about half an hour away. But you live and enjoy the local nature, canals, walking and cycling. “Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was clean, comfy, and the amenities were nice. Excellent location with short walk to transportation. The only problem was when I had extended the stay by one day and reconfirmed at check-in. It was a long night and a staff member knocked on the door several times at noon to inform us in a discourteous manner that "Did you know check-out was at noon?" And I said yes, that we extended our stay. Then the staff said with a scowl, "When?" And I said since Friday. Unpleasant encounter and I could not fall back asleep afterwards. It was like, I'm inconveniencing you by extending my stay? Would I stay again? Perhaps.”

“The manager she is racist because we are Arabs she said (la la la la la )your language, in front our faces when we were speaking with her, I was robbed by this hotel and I filed an official complaint with the police station. From the beginning of my arrival, I was not satisfied with the way they treated customers. The first day I went to buy perfumes and gifts and I had the bills. The second day I went out with my friend and we ran into the cleaning lady and she said, “I will clean.” Your room. We returned to the hotel and found our new things missing. We told the hotel manager. She said I checked the cameras and the door locks. No one entered your room and you put in a do not disturb card!! The next day, the manager said, “Yes, the cleaning lady entered your room and did not clean the room because it was not tidy, and she put it in the Do Not Disturb system!” We told her why you lied. She apologized for her three lies, but she insisted that they did not rob us and did not want to show the cameras, but I live in the Netherlands and I believe in the honest police and the honest judiciary that will take its course. The issue is not money but a principle. Moreover, they do not clean the rooms and They do not put towels, and if you call them, they make you look for 4 minutes and then they hang up the phone. The worst hotel I have stayed in in my life. I regret my life. Also, the hotel is far from everything. There is nothing next to you. You are forced to pay money for delivery services.”

“Comfortable and unique hotel with staff that set the standard in hospitality. Easy walk to/from the train station and most attractions. The room amenities are standard (nothing luxurious) but the shower was lovely and the bed comfortable - I was not wanting for anything. I took a couple of meetings from the cafe and enjoyed coffee to go in the morning. A perfect home base for my few days there in business. Hoping to return!”
