“My wife and I enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Argus. The staff were exceptional, rooms very clean with grouse air conditioning. The continental breakfast was a plus! The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to centre of town. Overall, an excellent package”

“Rooms are a bit outdated and need refurbishment. Some rubbish was left in our room from previous occupants, missed by housekeeping. Otherwise the room was clean. Pillow smelt of sweet and I ended up buying a new one from Kmart. Staff were friendly. The pool is good but the bar options limited as we visited in the wet season. Gym and laundry were good. I would stay there again but prefer to try somewhere else first.”

“Can't comment on the farm or accommodation but I recently went here with a friend for dinner. It was a mid week, low season evening with no other customers and the owners away overseas. Which was a bit of a shame as I had been very keen to try the owners cooking. Will have to return when they are home from overseas. The man and woman that were running the restaurant in place of them were very friendly and accommodating. I called in advance to advise of my dietary requirements and the lady prepared me a lovely plant based meal with quality ingredients. Some of the produce grown on the property itself. It was good value for 21 dollars for the vege meal with rice and fruit on the side too. Really ambient and beautiful chilled out Bali vibe. Will be back again with a friend next time we go chasing waterfalls in Litchfield.”

“Great place to stop on your way through. The place is pet friendly although it is highly recommended that you keep your pooches on a leash and don't let them near the creek behind the rest stop as it has fresh water Crocs and they've just recently taken 2 unrestrained dogs. Keep your van well out from under the trees as they are absolutely full of Bats. They do have a car / van wash off area if you happen to be popped on through the night. It has a little restaurant next to the pub which served good meals at reasonable prices. Fuel prices were reasonable for where they are. Staff was friendly.”

“Room was not clean. shower curtain was hanging off.. teatray was covered in slops. fridge dirty. dust everywhere. window ledge filthy. very disappointed. only good thing was buffet brekkie in the morning. After how dirty the room was it was a nice surprise”

“The room was ok, clean. Would have been almost perfect if the staff that was cleaning in the morning wouldn't yelled at each others in the coridor like maniacs. And knock on doors and yell goooood morning, breakfast !!! At 730/8 am. I was tired and was hoping to be able to relax in the morning but apparently those ladies had another plan for me. Despite this very inconsiderate behaviour the motel is great and the location isnt too bad”
