You can park the car for approx 30-40chf / day in the Garage. It is located in the middle of the city center. The hotel restaurant is very good.”

“Stayed for a night on 9th December 2023.Excellent service at reception and restaurant .The starters were amazing,steak was excellent and we were served home baked cookies which was just so heavenly. Their two waiters at the restaurant was top notch.They were so warm and pleasant from the start to the end of our dinner. Reception provided us heaters immediately when we needed it that night. This is such a vibrant hotel which nakes you feel at home. Thank you to the hotel management and restaurant team once again”

“Excellent service and great balance price/benefit. We stayed in a room with terrace and lake view. The choice was totally worth, the room was very clean, the toilet has been fully renovated and the towels were also brand new. The room had TV, minibar (only with water but was totally fine), and the internet connection worked very well. We visited the hotel in autumn so the pool wasn’t open (it’s outdoor pool) yet we enjoyed very much the amazing view from the restaurant. We loved the service of all the staff… people in the restaurant are super kind, same with cleaning staff and reception. The lovely lady of the restaurant pampered us with coffee to bring to the room so we could enjoy the sunny day in the terrace. The hotel has plenty of options for parking, you can pay it (5 or 10CHF/night) depending on availability of the different places or even you can park for free few blocks far from the hotel. We would definitely stay again in Riviera Hotel!”

“My husband and I visited this past weekend to enjoy our 4th anniversary in the snow. This hotel and its staff are a perfect example of dedication and love to every aspect of the stay! Rooms were spacious, clean, and renovated. Highly recommend getting their breakfast with your stay. It was a delicious assortment of breads, cheeses, omelettes, fruit, etc. We felt so spoiled not only with the friendly staff but with all the very considerate treats they provided us in celebrating our marriage. We wish we could personally thank each staff member we came across, everyone made such a special impression on us. Although we wished we could have stayed longer, we are already looking at returning (hopefully with more friends and family this time).”

“This is a tough review to write, but hopefully helpful to its readers. This place is visually stunning and has so much more potential. The pros: The garden is absolutely stunning! It is such a beautiful place and the pool is a perfect add on - the vibe of the little town, the views, the old building/villa. Amazing! The cons: The service. Especially one staff member (short hair, heavy eastern German dialect) was very rude to us on multiple occasions. Not sure why, maybe it’s just that person way, but this has nothing to do with hospitality. The audience. Not sure why this hotel lets large family groups with multiple small children book, but the tranquility of the hotel and surroundings was completely destroyed and it felt more like a visit to an amusement park. It’s just not the right setting for that (we weren’t the only people annoyed) and the prices are much too high for this type of Experience. If you want to make it family friendly, at least establish ground rules with the guests, so that the other paying customers can still enjoy their stay. The restaurant. The staff here is much better than in the hotel itself, but the prices are outrageous for the quality of food provided. The beef tartar had a very unusual color and consistency (and taste), which was almost rude to serve. The sauce served with fish was a thick, overly-creamy paste which would’ve been a better fit for a home improvement store rather than a restaurant - this dish alone was 42 CHF, we’re talking Zurich prices in a small town that most people haven’t heard of. Overall: Would love to return to the area, but will definitely check out an alternative for the next time.”
