“Large and comfortable room. Room were facing to the main road. In summer you won't open the windows. Sleeping sofa was not that comfortable. Breakfast was really great. A lot different choices. Freshly made. The coffee machine was too loud though. The ambient music was a nice touch to the breakfast experience. Parking on site is 20 PLZ. To expensive from my point of view. There are less expensive parking options in front of the hotel and close by. They are safe too from my point of view. Location in general is great. Town center is in walking distance. Lots of shopping and restaurants choices nearby.”

“The hotel is very basic, not a real SPA. Very basic treatments. Don’t waste your time and money for the beauty salon. The cosmetics they use are very cheap Polish cosmetics, the facials are done just to be done, it is just lying with a mask, no effort has been put at all. The prices changed after I booked the treatments and I was charged more without being informed at all. Buy a good face cream, it will do more good for your skin than the appointment. Nice staff in the buffet though. The water in the shower constantly fluctuated between cold and scorching hot. This is for an adult and almost impossible for a child to safely shower.”

“Reservation 4 days/3 nights, Superior double room, full board - breakfast and dinner buffet, lunch served. Stay paid in advance. The hotel confirmed it, and the day before arrival they sent an e-mail assuring us that they were waiting for us. Upon arrival, the receptionist checked us in nicely and pleasantly. The hotel was as described (almost), but what happened to us on the third day of our stay completely unsettled us. On Saturday after On the 17th, the staff knocked on our door and informed us that we should eat dinner in the room and we were given a substitute meal, without any drink (a photo of dinner for two people is attached). I feel sorry for these young girls, they were embarrassed because in every other room they met with a similar reaction to ours, i.e. disbelief and indignation. There was a party in the restaurant, some kind of party, and we were second class, having a meal in the room, on our knees, served in plastic boxes. No information in advance, either during the booking process or upon arrival. A hotel that has 4 stars next to its name on the facade treats its guests this way? Upon our attention reported at the reception, they responded with an additional plate with a dried poultry roll. If someone likes to be treated like an unwanted guest, we recommend Amber Port, otherwise it is better to avoid this place. Something like this has never happened to us before. This weekend is spoiled, but there will be others, not necessarily in Darłowo.”

“At first glance this hotel looks promising. Friendly staff and a all-inclusive package with an unbeatable price. After 2 Nights all kinds of problems accumulated. Room door repeatedly not working/unlocking. Tiny rooms for two people. Bland food. The rooms weren't sound isolated, room neighbors could be heard and loud humming at night. No room service / house keeping without request. Just over all an underwhelming experience. I don't know how this "Hotel" got a rating this good (4.1 Stars at time of review) but it's not at all representing the quality of this place. The only thing good here is its location near the beach...”

“This is a mixed bag. Everything is fairly new and modern, so that is good. Our rooms were fairly big, but there is no service in the rooms. We only had breakfast and that was quite ok. The attractions look a bit bigger and better on the pics. Indoor pool, for example, is tiny. The ice skating rink is not ice, it is plastic, so no fun at all. Worst part, however, is the service. You need to cue for ages at the reception, then languages barriers do make things very hard. Last, but not least, the staff is either not allowed to do anything, or they don't want to do anything. We were promised we could change the dates of one room, then the reception refused. We wanted a refund for something else, the reception said they cannot give out refunds, by order of the management. It feels like they built this gigantic complex, but forgot that it does need some (competent) people to run something this size. It feels more like a first-time Airbnb :-)”
