“The Inn is as beautiful as its pictures. Our room was very roomy, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was standard but the snack was delicious cookies from the bakery next door. The pool and hot tub area was kept nicely warm. Numerous comfortable areas to relax, even a couple with fireplaces. Warning, they do not have a dining room and most places are closed on Sunday in this area.”

“Second time at the Berlin Grande. The room was immaculate. Very spacious. The free breakfast in the morning is always nice and the use of the pool and hot tub are great. Sat outside by the fire pit and chatted with a friendly couple visiting the area. We had nice fall weather which definitely helped with sitting outside and on the room’s balcony. The hotel is well kept. Staff was nice.”

“Awesome hotel for reasonable price with quite and friendly atmosphere. I checked in close to 10pm with my huge baggage and hungry, so the restaurant was about to close. I wouldn’t be able to catch up tho drop my bags at the room and get back on time. However, employee stuff at front desk was really helpful and told me that they could actually watch for it and keep it until i eat. So I wouldn’t stay hungry. I really appreciate that🙌🏻”

“Charming Boutique Stay in Cleveland We recently had the pleasure of staying at Glidden House in Cleveland, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel's quaint boutique charm, coupled with its friendly and helpful staff, made our visit truly memorable. The location proved to be ideal, especially for those attending events at Severance Hall. A mere 10-minute walk to the concert venue made our stay incredibly convenient. The surrounding area felt clean and safe, contributing to a pleasant and worry-free atmosphere. The staff at Glidden House deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and assistance throughout our stay. Their friendliness added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. As for the accommodation itself, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring Cleveland. The overall ambiance of the boutique hotel added a unique and charming touch to our stay. I wish it was a little quieter, but its a hotel and others movements are hard to control. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which, while not extravagant, proved to be more than adequate. It provided a good start to our day and added to the overall value of our stay. In conclusion, Glidden House offers a charming and comfortable retreat in the heart of Cleveland. Whether you're attending a concert at Severance Hall or exploring the city, this boutique hotel provides a welcoming haven with excellent service. “Can't wait to return! From the minute you walk into this place, you feel like you've stepped back in time. The owners welcomed us at the front desk when we arrived, and couldn't have been more hospitable. We got to learn about the history of this unique historic building, and all the work they did to lovingly restore it to period-appropriate decor and furnishings. It's not far from Cleveland in a fascinating small town that's worth the visit, and the rooms are each unique, well appointed and very clean. We absolutely loved this place and will be back again and again.”

“Nice hotel, central location and quiet neighborhood setting with great a free parking garage. Breakfast was included and has a good selection of options. Room nice, no heat vent in bathroom. The sink/vanity is outside the bathroom with no wall to separate from the bed area, so the light is very bright. A dimmer switch or nightlight option would help make it more usable during the night. Common areas are nice, everything is clean. Didn't use the pool because it was full of children. A girls dance team was here during our first night and they were extremely loud in the hallways and inside their rooms. Not enough to complain to the hotel staff though. Overall, a positive stay and I'd definitely return if ever back in Columbus.”

They have a full breakfast with waffles scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal and much more. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. “Quick response times from staff for every request we had. Breakfast was pretty good, too. The waffles are worth a try. We were able to wash our clothes too for our longer stay pretty cheap. Rooms were clean and quiet (2nd floor). Many good eating choices nearby. Definitely a good place to stop.”

“Have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times and have had no issues. However this time was much different. The room was on second floor and the floor hallway stunk, like old wet carpet/musky smell and the room smelled the same. We had to leave and get Febreze Air spray to make the room tolerable. The bed/mattress was poor quality and extremely hard, like sleeping on the floor. The luggage holder/stool had multiple visible fluid stains. Also when we checked in they asked how often did we want the room serviced while we there and did we want full or partial service. All of this was very disappointing, especially for a Hilton property, and the fact that the quality of the hotel has gone down so much. There was a bad storm while we were there and the hotel was without power for many hours. The stairwells did not have emergency lighting and a large flashlight was set on the landing to provide light. The emergency lights in the hallways did not work. Giving all the issues with the room and no power, we checked out early and went to another hotel.”

“Last minute staycation. Very friendly front desk employee(Greg I believe). The room super nice and clean. Even had a sofa area to watch TV that I didn't expect. Bathrooms clean and accommodating. I mainly came to swim since my condo pool had already closed at Labor Day. Had the pool to myself. Very clean, could tell it was well chlorinated and maintained. Looking forward to continental breakfast. I'm a happy visitor thus far. Thank you.”

“Great location.... the area has lots of restaurants, museums and historical buildings all in close proximity. All the staff at the Courtyard with whom I interacted were professional, courteous, personable, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished with adequate lighting...I, however, found the closet a bit small, space was a bit challenging for a somewhat bulky winter coat. An added plus is their Shuttle service that starts at 6 am each morning, servicing the surrounding Medical facilities. Will definitely stay at this facility again.”

“I returned to Home2Suites in August 2023. This type I stayed another 6 months. Let me tell you, by far the best Hilton I have ever experienced still to this day. Originally, I was there from August 2022 to February 2023. I am a Hilton Diamond member and I travel all across the country....hands down #1 Hilton. The staff members still remembered me by name. Some new staff members and everyone was still very nice, always made sure to say good morning to me and every guest, compassionate to everyone, very professional, very accommodating, and treated everyone like family. It's like a home away from home playground atmosphere, felt very comfortable. I can definitely call this place my home away from home. Experience was very engaging!!! Always willing to offer a helping hand and go the extra mile for me and my experience at Hilton. Accommodated me with a great long term rate. Got to meet new guests and new staff members. Once again, every staff member was phenomenal and continue to call my friends. The rooms were nice and cozy, cleaned with a fine tooth comb, and comfortable enough to live for another 6 months. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh coffee and always hot, and the staff took great pride in keeping that hotel clean as whistle (literally Lysol everything which I loved). Everyone treated me like family once again. Thank you for everything!!!! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is in the area!!!!!!!!!”

“We have been to OH a few times for work. We have tried 4 or 5 other hotels in this area. This is by far the best hotel we have ever been to.... in all of our travels. The staff is amazing, rooms are very clean, bed is comfortable, the breakfast is great and free, they brew coffee in the lobby all day long, the rooms are like little apartments with a living living room and kitchen (with a stove and full size fridge), elevator works and doesn't try to trap you, gym is spacious and equipment is in good condition, indoor pool and hot tub are really nice and the location is perfect. Highly recommend, we will be staying here on all future visits and looking for this hotel at our other destinations.”
