“My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at Simonton Court over New Year and we just couldn't have been more delighted. The grounds were so lush, cozy, and inviting. The entire staff was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast service by the pool every morning was absolutely delightful. And we were not expecting our own private deck right off of our room!! So nice. Not to mention, THE LOCATION CAN'T BE BEAT. Steps from Duval and walkable to absolutely everything in Key West, yet so quiet and secluded. Such a perfect little oasis. We can't wait to come back!!”

“This inn was a wonderful experience all around! The location is idyllic and calm, looking out on a small inlet in the Gulf of Mexico. The beach has hammocks, a fire pit, a bungalow, and numerous chairs throughout all facing the western edge of the property for the ever changing sunsets over the Gulf. I spent hours in the hammocks and loved every minute relaxing there! The room we stayed in was quaint and appropriately decorated in tropical decor and looked out on the beach. The best thing about the room was the ability to walk directly out onto the beach (Sandpiper Room 3). While the price may seem steep for some, you get SO much for the price you pay. Everything I listed above plus kayaks, paddle boards, a heated pool with 24/7 access, and bikes! Given how much I loved this inn, we will definitely be staying here in the future!!”

“Great cute little place in Key west. The room was clean and cute. We were placed on the road side of the building. A little loud for me at 6am, but my friends slept like a champ. Swimming pool was nice and pretty calm. The whole place is pretty quiet because it is few blocks from busy duval street. Love this location. Our cleaner is amazing, she is always running around with a big smile on her face. The bartender at happy hour was great! What can I say, just a great place with great staff! Def recommended! “This was our first time at Eden house and in Key West. I was a little skeptical about staying here because of some of the reviews but I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did, sure the rooms are pricey but so is everything else in key west. Are they huge? The answer is no. But was it a beautiful relaxing property in the heart of old Town? Absolutely! The pool was great, the hot tub was great, staff was super friendly, bike rental right out front. I didn't have to drive my car for 4 days. Either walked or biked. There were hammocks, tons of chairs to lay out on and it was quiet. Just a super relaxing place to spend time at and to get away. I didn't go to key west to sit in my room. So I was very happy with the overall experience and everything Eden house had to offer.”

“I stayed here on a trip through the keys in January 2024. I paid $234 with taxes and everything. It is a very nice establishment with lots of amenities and great service. I got a good night sleep in their spacious room and a hearty breakfast from their continental offering. Seemed to be a bit of water damage in my room, but it is Florida, and the patio could benefit from a screen door in addition to the sliding glass one, however perhaps the latter would exacerbate the former. Other than that, no complaints.”

“The staff at this family-run hotel are lovely, so I feel bad writing a less than 5-star review, but we were disappointed with our stay and felt there were a few things that could be improved. First, the good: the location is incredible, and so long as you have a room facing the back and not near the trash disposal where the glass bottles are dumped, it’s incredibly quiet. It also felt very clean and safe while we were there. The bad: there’s no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no safe for passports/other valuables, the bathroom door didn’t lock, the windows for our room all faced the stairs the other rooms accessed (motel-style) and there were only slatted blinds so we had to keep these closed constantly, the AC stopped working (although the manager ended up replacing this so it worked for our final night), and the bed was so uncomfortable that my boyfriend and I were walking around with aches after night one. The breakfast, as others have noted, is just coffee, orange juice, a pot of yoghurt, a banana/orange and a croissant, but nice to have rather than nothing. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again unless some of these things were ironed out.”

The heated pool, private balconies, simple yet delicious breakfast and wonderful staff made this a pleasant boutique hotel experience. The shampoo/conditioner bottles were really difficult to use and squeeze liquids out of. I’d rather use refillable larger containers than these small plastic bottles. 2. Our bathroom door did not close and some of the hardware in the bathroom was coming loose. The shower pan only had a curtain divider and water would get out when we shower.”

Steps from Blue Heaven and Rams Head restaurants, and others. You can text or phone your breakfast choices to the front office and they bring it up to your room in a cute little basket.
