“A gem of a hotel amidst a literal sea of hotels. In a city brimming with hospitality brands and properties, it can be hard to find a place that feels unique and isn’t also attached to a theme park. Wave is none of the things you’d associate with an Orlando hotel. It’s clean, modern, and has its own personality. There are excellent restaurants, great views of landing and departing planes, and one of the coolest sculpture gardens outside of Europe. It’s a real treat to visit this place.”

“We stayed for one night (1/14/24-1/15/24). The check-in staff was nice, the rooms were nicely decorated. The price was reasonable. The blatantly obvious large amount of mold across our bathroom wall was inexcusable. The daytime staff was inexplicably rude (no eye contact, no return of a 'Hello' or nod of greeting, from several staff members). Then, at breakfast, a staff member cut me off twice trying to get her breakfast. I'm glad they feed their staff, but they could at least try to act with modicum of decency or customer service. If you need to be near the hospital, it's a place to stay at a decent price. That's the best I can say about it.”

“Definitely made me want to stay at more Home2 locations. Room is very spacious and it’s a mix between hotel and suite, it’s a perfect spot for not so long stays but longer than normal. It had a very effective kitchen area and tons of space to put stuff and work. Excellent little sofa and separated sleeping space with a pull to the side cloth room isolator.”

“Perfect getaway hotel, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. A soothing and relaxing environment, clean and neat setup. The receptionist, I forget his name starts with a D was incredibly accommodating and patient . He expressed to us the hotel had been renovated in 2020 and they take great pride in keeping a welcoming and safe place to reside . The room itself was lovely, the bed has firm and comfortable. It did not sink in and passed my personal inspection . The balcony is an added bonus to enjoy the fresh air . House keepers we encountered were kind and did a fantastic job with our room , tidy and crisp. Definitely coming back to this location . Not to mention how affordable the stay was $130ish . Great deal!”

“I rarely write a review. After staying the weekend at this hotel, I decided to write one. Yes, the hotel has a great location. But that’s it. I do appreciate an historic or older Victorian feel. This is way beyond that. This hotel hasn’t been updated since the early 1900’s. Creeks in the floors, beds and main staircase. The people in the room next to me actually felt like they were in the same room. Bathrooms were absolutely terrible. And the icing on the cake was my daughter and I both having some type of bug bites when we left. You can just assume what that is. One positive is the staff was very nice. But this place needs a major renovation for me to ever stay again. Stay at the Alfond instead.”
