“A lovely hotel for our stay in Edinburgh. Bruntsfield was a little bit of a walk from the main hubbub and touristy areas, but we liked that this enabled us to find some really lovely cafe/ restaurant gems out of the centre of town. Plus it was easy enough to walk through the park or down the road to get to various areas in Edinburgh. The hotel itself was nice, the room was a good size (Executive) and came with everything you need. We slept well on the whole, the walls are a little thin so we were woken up by other guests on occasion. This was only really a problem on the first night where there was a function on downstairs, and the noise of the guests leaving at midnight was quite loud! Only other negative to note was that the shower was very weak. I had to hold it quite close to my head to wash out the shampoo which after four nights was getting a little old. We enjoyed the coffee machine that came with the room, and the tunnock tea cakes in the reception area! We would recommend this hotel for others planning to visit Edinburgh in the future! The”

Only a couple of things let it down ; 1 being the room service option isn't available no more , and also cocktails and food are no longer available to purchase from the property but you can have it delivered, was told they don't serve cocktails no more but the man the front desk named a couple he did know how to do and made them for us , amazing service! 2 being one of the bedrooms view is a graveyard . “Old English vibe to the Decoration of the rooms which is exactly what I was going for, for my trip to Edinburgh. The reception is open from 8am to 8pm which are handy times for when you need them. On-call Cleaning is available from 8am to 12pm which gives you more than enough time in the morning to ring the receptionist and let them know you might want the room cleaning or to just empty your bins. Perfect place to relax and have a nice time in Edinburgh, I myself stayed for a week and every day I was just in awe at how wonderful the rooms were and have great the service was too, highly recommended.”

From the moment i arrived to when the time i left its was like being at home. Checked in at the bar and had a free cocktail which was a nice surprise. The room was fab and they had even personalized my stay by writing a fab welcome on the mirrors. The room was super clean, very practical and the bed was super comfy. When i came back from our night out there hotel was buzzing, lots of people around still drinking and enjoying themselves. Breakfast in the morning was welcome hangover cure. It was a help yourself buffet ( they even had a pancake maker) Being so close to the city its a perfect location and i will be back for sure. Highly recommend this hotel”
