“Room was quiet and cleaner than many. Beds were firm, flat and very comfortable for us. Hallway smelled odd but the room had no odd smells and the air felt clean. Very friendly staff and nice free breakfast. Will definitely stay again.”

“This was our first time in Gettysburg and I loved the proximity to everything with this B&B. We were able to walk to everything from Mead next door, an Irish Pub, mass, Starbucks, and tours! It was a birthday weekend, and our room had period art with birthday wishes throughout. We also had both houses to ourselves! Perks of going during a snowy weekend. Things to note: breakfast is not included, but offered for a charge. There are two historic homes, so each room selection on their website should let you know what location. We were in the Welty house. This wasn’t clear to me when we booked on a third party site, and please book on their site. So much easier for them and cheaper for us! Finally, we loved sitting and having tea and coffee, watching our favorite show, and keeping warm while the snow fell. Such an amazing experience. Thank you! PS communication was fabulous!”

“Staff (very kind) and location (right in the square yet very quiet at night) were both great. The room was very spacious and the bed, sofa and chairs were all very nice. It was dated in the decor (wall paper and built-in cabinets) as well as the kitchenette appliances. The bathroom was large and open and very comfortable. The shower was more of a mist, but there was also a lovely jetted tub. My understanding is that they are refurbishing rooms so I'm sure this room is likely on the list. Though i didn't have the opportunity to dine in their restaurant, I heard wonderful things about it. All in all, a great place to stay. I'd definitely book there again!”

“Lovely place to stay for a romantic weekend in Gettysburg! The owners greet you as you check in and share that same warm welcome each morning at breakfast! The breakfasts, especially the pastries, were wonderful and they even made gluten-free muffins each morning for my husband. The room is quaint and comfortable, ours had a two-person jacuzzi tub. The location was close to everything, so we just walked about town each day. Will surely return again!”

“This place is a great stay for the money. We enjoyed having a bar available the night we checked and rooms and everything was very clean. The entry was festive and welcoming, service friendly and helpful. My only gripe is the $15 breakfast. It’s the same continental breakfast many other hotels serve, nothing fancy, yet for a family of 4, Hilton wants more than I’d pay for breakfast at a Cracker Barrel. I’d have no problem paying if omelettes or something more elevated was being served (you can pay $10 extra for avacado toast).”

“We enjoyed Days Inn Gettysburg! Room was nice and hotel was close to the battlefield for sightseeing and downtown for shopping. Food options close by were plentiful as well. Staff was kind and helpful when we needed to break larger bills to use the vending machine. We were only there for a couple of nights so we did not need housekeeping, as towels we stocked before we arrived. The continental breakfast was great. Lots of options, including cereal, oatmeal, waffle makers, juices, coffee, and toast. The staff member handling the breakfast room was working very hard to make sure things were stocked which was very appreciated.”

“Our room was Anna's Garden. It was a very lovely, spacious room. The B&B is very beautiful and the location is superb. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We love Gettysburg, and we are already planning another trip. Would absolutely stay at the Battlefield Inn again!”
