“What a lovely place. Very good on email before we arrived and very welcoming when we did. And what a characterful place it is. A partially restored monastery I think and the cells are the rooms. Not massive but comfortable. The restaurant is fab and we had a great dinner and good breakfast. Highly recommended.”

The reception staff were always friendly and accommodating, including when working with us for a late check-in and an early check-out. The breakfast was consistently fresh and delicious—how indulgent for us to have fresh Parmigiano Reggiano cheese each morning! Our room was spacious and the common spaces are inviting and comfortable. In addition, the location so close to Piazza Garabaldi (and a 15-20 minute walk from the train station) is fantastic. When we return to Parma, Hotel Button will be our first choice!”

Check out the Colorado cafe at the end of the road for great snacks and coffee.”

“Despite the location, the beauty of the structure on the outside and the convenience of private parking, the quality of our stay was disappointing. The room was quite dirty, had old furniture and broken/non-working items. With the heat, we couldn't even turn on the air conditioning because it was controlled only by the owners for all the buildings. We had jobs in front of the room all the time and struggled to rest and especially work. For €70 a night, we were offered very poor service. To be used only in case of emergency!”

If you have a car and no need for room service:) especially tricky on a Sunday morning, when the adjacent petrol station bar isn't working:( otherwise, very comfy, 5 min drive yo Parma city center, you park your car in front of your room, very clean(because the rooms are maybe being used also"per hour") room decor is accordingly kitschy:) If you can look pass the possible sketchy side of it, a nice place for what it costs... by(on) the highway, close to a gas station:)”

“Hotel Ferrari has excellent service and very friendly staff, they really treat you like family! We arrived in Fidenza after the last bus to Salsomaggiore was gone and there were no taxis at all. The wonderful receptionist organized a Taxi to come pick us up within 20 minutes! We stayed in room 325, which was spacious, very clean and had a beautiful view over the town. At breakfast, the waitress was very attentive and always asked us if we wanted anything extra or more fresh coffee, even though she worked as if she were 3 people. The cherry on top were the breakfast bags today as we had to leave before breakfast. They were put together with so much care and were completely customized to our preference. They even came with little notes! The only negative aspect was that we didn’t even ask what her name is (shame on us), so we can thank her and the other staff properly for their care.”
