Only negative was the glass sliding door on the shower, opened and closed, close beside the handbasin. As a bigger person was an uncomfortable squeeze. If the door opened the other direction would have been perfect. The shower was large, with a very large shower head. Would definitely stay here again.”

“My partner and I had to stay overnight at Hotel X after a flight cancellation. The staff received a bus load of people at around 9.30pm and got everyone promptly off to their rooms. They were very helpful and organised. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and quite stylish, although the art in room 109 was a little creepy because you felt like the faces in the artwork were watching you sleep. Overall my partner and I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely return.”

“We booked a large room, fantastic - there is a jacuzzi in the living room, there is a large balcony. The motel is on the street, but the windows are very well soundproofed. The breakfast is very simple, without cheese or sausage (but there is a small shopping center just around the corner). Toast, butter, jam, cornflakes, milk and juices are available, as are coffee and tea. There is no elevator except a small one in the wall for luggage. A taxi to downtown costs $30. There is only 1 star deduction for the loose toilet seat. Despite the lively street, it is somehow idyllic. It is ideal for 1-3 nights to bridge the onward journey.”

“Booked for two nights but only stayed for one. Rooms are dated. Carpet dirty. Walls are made of paper and you can hear everything happening in the rooms next door. Pretty sure the front door is made of cardboard and would be able to be barged down by an angry German Shepherd. Other guests were up partying until about 4am and cardboard front door did nothing to muffle the noise. Will not be back.”
