“Went for dinner with some friends. Good choice on the menu. We all found something we wanted to eat and all sent empty plates back to the kitchen. Nice atmosphere. Service was good, staff were very pleasant. Lovely evening all round.”

“Visited on spa day deal. First impressions were that areas of the spa were in need of updating. There was peeling paint on the ceilings, evidence of water leaks on walls and ceilings. In the ladies changing more than half of the lockers didn't work, the water remover for costumes was missing, there was no shower gel in the showers and was generally dirty. The pool was nice although it stopped being heated at lunchtime so became quite cool. There were two heated loungers which were nice although again, were stopped being heated at lunch time making them pointless. There were plenty of loungers around the pool although some were broken. There were no bins around the pool so there were lots of empty paper cups just left on the floor. The spa treatments were very nice and couldn't fault them. The lunch was fine. Not a great amount of choice but sufficient for the day. Water was available but no hot drinks unless purchased from the bar. Overall, I've been on a few spa days and this is one I wouldn't return to. The facilities weren't the best and the staff weren't the most professional. Lion Quays half an hour away is much nicer and better value.”

“Yuen, my waitress at the restaurant downstairs, was wonderful. She was very courteous and nice as well as very attentive. Food was also good. Often, hotel restaurants are not the best, but if you don’t feel like going out one night I would definitely recommend this one.”

“Easy to access from the local Motorway. The local multi-story parking is close by with a short walk through a pedestrian precinct of 100-150m from the car (ideally level 2) to the front door of the hotel. The hotel entrance is a little underwhelming at street-level, with the reception on the first floor. Bedrooms, beds & breakfast (gluten-free, cooked to order) were great as usual for Premier Inn. Free WiFi worked well. One of two lifts was not working, but this isn't an issue when it's quiet. Also had a small issue with the shower head not locking at a good angle, but nothing too major. Noise from the town can be heard in a quiet room, but it calms down at a reasonable hour for sleep. Views over the Christmas stalls in the precinct and the city park to the south were great from our third floor full height window. Our preschoolers loved it & so did we!”

“Amazing stay, we were lucky enough to stay in the oldest part of the hotel which was absolutely beautiful. There was a wedding on and we were still made to feel like top priority. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the restaurant was a lovely environment to sit in. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Will be staying here again in the future. It was 5 star service catering and accommodation. Fully fully recommend.”
