“Stunning. Felt like a movie star every time I interacted with staff. I was in a friend's wedding here and the event staff, Donna and Petra especially, were exceptional. Every detail was taken care of and they kept a level head and rolled with the punches. One bartender in particular, Joey, was truly awesome. He was funny and witty, and really paid attention to the guests. It looked like he was having fun the whole time and he had a positive attitude that was contagious! The surf and turf dinner was absolutely delicious. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and in the winter the price for a king studio suite was unbeatable. No standard rooms here, suites only. Price goes up in the summer months but that is to be expected. Stunning, modern, luxurious. I would come here again and again if I could. Thanks for being awesome and giving my friend the wedding of her dreams!”

“This is a nice, clean hotel with the quality one would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn property. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had no issues with loud parties during our weekend stay. My only issue was with the cost of breakfast; the buffet and other menu items are overpriced. But breakfast was good. Overall, I recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood.”

“A good value for money and can’t beat the location. The only real downside was they allow chain smoking at the pool and outside the rooms. A lady who camped by the pool every day all say, chain smoked even while in the pool. If they regulated the smoking, this would bring more family friendly energy. But overall the service was nice enough, rooms were bare minimum but that is expected. The free beach passes was nice and have the bay, and beach so close makes it worth a stay. I actually like that this is removed from the boardwalk area and more quiet and in a nice neighborhood.”

“We had such an amazing stay at the Driftwood! They renovated their rooms, new flooring, bathroom, and nicely put together. Being by the beach it’s hard to avoid the flies that are attracted to the light outside the door at night that’s expected just be quick when going inside and don’t leave it open. AC worked perfectly it was nice and cold, beds were comfortable, great sized fridge we were able to fit all our drinks and food, we went to the local stop n shop and liquor store which was super convenient, also lots of places to eat near by. Parking was totally fine never had an issue. The snack bar was so nice and delicious, you must get a bacon egg and cheese! You can’t beat it because it’s right on the beach, free access, and heated private pool which was super clean. It was relatively quiet too with some noise late at night or early morning but honestly slept perfectly fine, TV worked good and shower was so nice. Water was very hot too. Check in was pretty simple and quick. I appreciated that Betty-ann gave me a courtesy call to see when I would be arriving, that’s a nice personal touch and she asked us how the room was once we came back out. This is a busy place and I can see why! It’s really a great deal considering you’re on the beach and within a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a mini beach getaway. Also ice cream and Italian ice everywhere, there’s so many places to try! Very family oriented which is super nice. Between the cafes, ice cream shops, boardwalk and restaurants we ate good! Loved our stay here and we will be back!”
