“This is most definitely not a four-star hotel. Its only redeeming feature is the location. The laundry service is not as claimed same day - it takes at least 24 hours. Our room on the second floor was pokey as was the bathroom. The shower was prone to sudden temperature changes and flooded the bathroom floor and even though that problem was reported, it wasn't fixed. No instructions on how to use the tv, no mention of room service. No tables available in the dining room for breakfast and all self service. Although the covered rooftop bar provided great views of the city, it was manned only occasionally. And to cap it all, the cover was removed on the day when it rained! I don't know how much worse things have to get before the IH Hotels Group gets a grip of this place...”

“We came without a reservation. However they made a table ready for us. The first course contains around 5 little dishes, then there is a second with 2 dishes. And a dessert which is fruit an small sweets. Just take your time to eat here. We were here for 2,5 hours. It was reallly good quality food and the atmosphere was fabulous. Too bad we do not have this kind of quality and service for the same price in the netherlands. For what you get you do not overpay.”

“We had an amazing time staying at this women owned and women operated agriturismo! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool is well maintained, the land is beautiful with olive groves, and we woke up every morning looking forward to the incredible and fresh breakfast each morning. We were fortunate to have met Grazia, who works as a receptionist at the hotel and was also our guide for the olive oil tour. “Don't go here. First off, this doesn't deserve its stars. The staff can be absolutely terrible. Some of them are nice enough, but there is this one guy that will ruin your day. Very unfriendly, not understanding at all, and simply rude. Doesn't care about anything. Have you seen Fawlty Towers? Yeah. Like that. The place itself is... okay. The rooms are bit baroque, if that's your thing, and we didn't have any problems with cleanliness, as some others here reported. The place is not exactly close to Bari, so if you want to go there you'd need to go by taxi / bus / with a rented car. The hotel has some weird rules they don't tell you about. Like the pool is only open on some days for the hotel guests, on some days you have to make place for guests from outside the hotel. This means you MAY swim if there's space for you, the actual hotel guest, left. You also may not use the recliners, even if they are free. Nobody from the hotel told us. We had a family day planned where we wanted to spend time at the pool. It was one of those days where it was reserved for non-hotel-guests. They absolutely wouldn't allow us to be there. They were not understanding of our complaint that we'd have liked to know that beforehand, to plan accordingly. That one guy we mentioned above got really weird with us, like an angry teenager. All in all, we're not very happy with our stay there.”

The whole masseria is a beautiful place , the rooms are so big and comfortable and the cleaning service from the stuff is impeccable! The time spent outside was so relaxing as no noisy sound was ruining the atmosphere . I still dream about it and I’m so glad to have experienced this time in this magical location.
