“My wife and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. First I'll say the parking is difficult. However, we pulled up front and the staff took us to the parking garage. The staff were all some of the best we've experienced in our 3 weeks around Italy. Our bags were carried to our room as well as back to our car. They served tea and coffee when we checked in. The breakfast was everything we needed and more. The location couldn't be beat for seeing Verona. The bar in the evenings served very affordable, quality cocktails. I'm all around very impressed by this hotel.”

“Visited Hosteria Moderna by way of a recommendation. We were not disappointed. A warm and friendly greeting at the door, and a choice of tables, we arrive at 19:30, so were a little taken aback because we were the only diners, no one wants to eat in an empty restaurant right? However, we ordered from the menu and our excellent food came quickly, and with another smile. Excellent quality, and great portions. The beer selection is comprehensive, and well tended, We had a couple of pints of Guiness, can't say its the best in Verona, but it is the best we have drunk in Verona so far! But a really excellent pint, or four.... The decor is pleasant and has a motoring/road/motorcycle theme, and as we ate the place filled up, predominantly with locals, which is always a good sign, so our fears were soon dispersed about our solo dining. All in all a great dining experience, and one we will return to, and try the wonderful looking steaks.”

“Though not easy to find despite being on a prominent street downtown, once you find it, you arrive at a well managed haven for the traveller. Check-in was swift and smooth, with Nicole and Alice at the desk. Nicole briefed us efficiently off a map on what and how to do. This made it possible for us to experience the beautiful little town easily by walking all over the important sites two times over in a span of 24 hours. Briskly first in 2 hours and a follow up visit to those sites that we wished to see in detail, on the next day. The room was comfortable and clean. Buffet breakfast was of adequate variety and tasty. “Close to both the main transport husband the city center. All beds down and internal bathroom that was great. Big shower, towels and liquid soaps. One of the top 5 hostels where I have been.
