“Good enough camping spots with shadow. Clean and new buildings. However not really the type of camping we where looking for. There where a lot of parties that went far beyond the time that it should be quit. We where hoping to do some morning activities but that was not possible due to the lack of sleep. We decided to go to a different lake, and did not get our money back (as they said they wouldn’t do in advance while booking).”

“A very cozy place! Rooms are clean and cared for nicely. The staff is super nice, respectful and waiting to help. Have stayed a few times now and feel like I am part of the family. The main level ros can have some noise from rooms above but are very nice. 1st floor rooms are roomy and have a great view. Eating at the local restaurant onsight is quite nice, there are not many spots very close. If the restaurant is closed, they can order you pizza or other food near by. The morning breakfast buffet has nice high quality options for everyone. Juices, waters, coffees and many treats to eat. Everyone is so helpful and nice!”

“Wonderful experience in a luxurious hotel that is basically a historical building. The atmosphere is special and obliges one to calm down and enjoy the scenery, the vast domain of the hotel. Sirmione has a romantic vibe to it if you stay in Vila Cortine, sheltering you from the thousands and thousands of tourists that each year flood the old town. The rooms are spectacular, the lake is WOW and the fact that the hotel has its own pontoon is a big advantage that allows you to enjoy the splendid scenery. As far as food goes, breakfast is top notch and the bistro offers very well prepared local specialties also. I would not recommend the tasting menu, although it is interesting I think a la carte choices are better. Wines are excellent, the experience was all in all superb, we traveled for our matrimony celebration and it was lovely. What a hotel, what a lake - Bella Italia!!!”

“Beautiful hotel grounds and location. The sea view suite was very nice too but the AC kept turning on and off very annoyingly once the room was at 26C (so we slept with an open window instead). Breakfast was ok, sadly no good italian coffee. The restaurant was ok in a pinch but there are definitely much better options in the area. “Generally speaking this hotel is really good. We had some difficulty when checking in the hotel, e.g. the reception gave us a room key and the room was already occupied. There was some other stuff with them which I do not even like to mention. So with that saying the reception staff is ok, not the best in service, as it is a 4 Stars hotel, but ok. The rooms are really good and you can see that the hotel was renovated and everything is new. We enjoyed sleeping there. The breakfast is phenomenal and the guy responsible for the breakfast is the absolute best and soo very friendly!! Cleaning is also really good, everyday new towels and you can see that the cleaning staff really cleans the room. The pool is also very good. The location of the hotel is very good. We stayed there in August 2020 and you really could see that they try their best with the current Corona situation. I rated it with "only" 3 Stars here, as we were not pleased with the reception staff, but I feel like that that's just one experience you make out of 10 different situations. So if you want to enjoy a nice and relaxing holiday, we would totally recommend it.”

They were very clean, had all the basic amenities, hob (but no oven), microwave, fridge/freezer, patio seating area, air con. etc. There were washing machines on site, a clean toilet and shower block, cafe/bar. Lots of sunbeds around the 2 pools and a children's play area. All clean and inviting. About a 20 min walk from Lidls or the lake. You can hire a BBQ on site.”

If you get a room facing the road it could be noisy if windows open at night( early morning-cleaning machine noises). On Tuesdays there is a market in close proximity. Room was spacious and warm with kettle, fridge and good hairdryer)”
