Nice clean & cool rooms (crazy outside temperatures about 40C). The kids loved the pool, didn't want to leave. Nice little high Street in the village 600m away (and great gelato place). “Great location... hotel undergoing renovations so noisy and no elevator. Bed was comfortable, kettle provided for coffee and tea. Asked for sheets since there was only a comforter. Towels and sheets are scratchy... need better quality or softener. Shower is tiny, have to wedge in. Because it's a very old hotel there's no soundproofing and my room had the sewage and drainage pipes outside with ongoing noise. The porters and reception clerks were great.”

“We enjoyed a lovely horse riding trip with Alberto, the owner of the farm. Alberto told us history stories during the trip and showed us some historic land marks. The horses were very calm and we felt safe during the whole trip, as beginners with not too much experience. We even saw some wild animals along the way (boar and deers). Afterwards Alberto invited us for lunch, first an appetizer of mixed lovely produce fresh from their farm and second course fresh pasta with wild board prepared by Alberto's brother accompanied by red house wine. We were so full that we didn't have the chance to try their dessert, we would definitely like to be back for that :)!! Alberto and his brother were both so very kind, if we get the chance we will visit for a weekend for riding and enjoying their fresh produce. “My wife and I travel fairly extensively and I will say that this is one of the top B&Bs we have stayed at. The location is very good as you can walk to anything you may want to visit. The rooms are huge, very clean and fully/thoughtfully appointed. The breakfast was extensive and delicious - and they largely changed it each day. Negative : Travelling with small kids, we booked thinking we could access the terrace but unfortunately it's only open for breakfast (so we couldn't go during nap times or evenings) Same for restaurants, that are listed as hotel equipment but unfortunately there are outside the establishment. If we knew this we probably would have booked somewhere cheaper.”

“8 day stay at this hotel, which is a very nice building in a very quiet lane just off the main tourist area, very close to pretty much everything. Accept the fact this is not a 5 star hotel but a budget alternative and everything is good. Small but adequate rooms are clean and tidy with excellent maid service each day, sheets and towels changed regular. Breakfast was more than enough to get you going each day. Coffee, cakes, bread with toaster, croissants, meat tomatos, etc. you can ask for special coffees and gluten free food is available from the staff. We had an issue with the shower doors coming off the rails (hitting my wife in the head once), told staff on reception 3 times but nothing was done, so gave up asking and put towels on the floor to catch the water. obviously been in this condition a while and will be for a while longer. apart from that all was good”
