“Nice hotel in Merone. The hotel is 30 minutes by car from Como and about 20 min from Lecco. Both nice destinations for excursions. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice. The hotel's own restaurant is great. It has a pool area with an outdoor bar and a large lawn. Sometimes a few geese come to visit. The hotel is located directly on a river. The morning buffet is also very rich and offers everything you need. We like to come back”

“We came for a wellness day and it was absolutely worth it. The service was on top and the room itself had everything. The view from the room was absolutely perfect! The various options for wellness and spa give you a lot to choose from. We enjoyed the dinner as well and couldn’t be more impressed with the taste. If you have a bigger car or a sporty car the route to the Hotel might be a little tricky as it goes through rocky roads and short turn.”

“Great location. The only downside is no heating so was quite old in one of the rooms (we had 3 rooms for 7 people). The mattress was very firm, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep, can’t give 5starts. But super clean and quiet rooms.”

“The hotel is in a prime location. The staff are very friendly. The bathroom in the room with lake view was recently renovated. The room is otherwise simply furnished. The bed was not particularly comfortable and the duvet was only covered with a simple sheet, not wrapped. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Expected more for that price.”

“The location is strategic between Como about 20min drive and Milan about 45 min. You need car though. The rooms are goog, stuff are friendly. However the breakfast is good but not diverse enough, we stayed 5 days with all same types for breakfast.”

“We were supposed to stay for one night, once we arrived we were told that the hotel had overbooking and they could not accommodate us. They say they tried to call us we did not receive any calls or emails. After this huge mistake we had to go sleep in another place, we requested throw booking.com free cancellations- the hotel DID NOT APPROVED our request and charged us for the whole amount .I tried also contacting them directly throw mail, did not help also. This is a theft and I wouldn’t recommend staying here!p”

“Our stay at this hotel was a very good deal. The price was under the average of what you find in the area so we were quite excited. As we stayed only one night we didn't mind the breakfast not being very varied which I noticed was a real concern amongst other reviewers. It was enough for the morning we stayed. The only thing I could criticize is that some of the things seemed a bit warn out (i.e. shower), but it wasn't bothersome. I am happy we stayed at this hotel as we definitelly got our money's worth.”

“The hotel has a lovely pool and terrace, has a great location next to the lake, is boutique in size with a good car park. Location near the top of lake como is good for exploring and the town of gravedona has some lovely restaurants. The staff are helpful. On the downside the wifi service is awful, walk halfway into your room and you lose the signal, I had to sit in the bar to get enough signal to connect, in this day and age even on holiday people need and want to be connected!! Breakfast was also disappointing, a relative limited continental selection compared to other hotels we have stayed at, scrambled or hard boiled eggs only and the toaster takes for ever to produce toast!!”

“While the hotel promised 'beautiful views on lake Como', we were placed on the ground floor with a view on the A/C system of the hotel. The desk employee laughed us off. We had booked a half pension arrangement for 3 days which promised 'traditional Italian meals'. We were offered processed canned food instead. The hotel does have beautiful rooms, but we have been ripped off! Please check the pictures we made ....”

“We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in October. Everything about our stay was great. The pictures may seem like the hotel is a little outdated but in person it has a very classic Italian look to it. The rooms were nice with a nice clean washroom. The breakfast had a good selection. The location of this hotel can't be beat, as it's right in front of where the ferry dropped us of. The price was very reasonable as well. The staff at the front desk were always very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to go to Bellagio.”
