“We stayed with our family for one night and it was amazing! All clean, and cozy, we felt at home even if we were far away from it. The receptionist was super friendly, and he explained everything politely. It was our second time and both times we checked with the same receptionist in the evening. He remembers us and it is so nice. The view to the shore is awesome. Also, forget to mention that there are plenty of parking spaces even for big trucks. Thank you!”

“We have been staying here 3 weeks at a time & then we left for 2 days and came back to stay another 3 weeks. We travel for my husband's job. We have stayed at numerous kitchenette type hotels in the last 8 yrs. Chase is one of the nicest we have stayed at. Glass top stoves, dishwasher, full size refrigerator!! The sofa has a chase lounge on one side of it and it has a fireplace!! 😍👍Large bedroom with a king size bed. A very good breakfast that has a variety of options and we love the fresh fruit which is Cantaloupe & Honeydew and big red seedless grapes also on Wednesdays they have yummy crispy bacon. Hot coffee and tea and love the honey packets for my tea!! Has a pool & jacuzzi too. Ample parking. The first 3 weeks were super quiet. This time on Friday night a big & very loud party right across from us. It ended at 11:30 pm but restarted at 1:30 am!!! It got shut down within 5 minutes by security. Which I was very happy about. Hopefully they lost their deposit . The only other complaint is our TV in the bedroom needs to be replaced as it has 4 bright light spots in it making it difficult to see. We did report it on our last stay and when we came back we got the same room and it had not been replaced. It's not fixable so they need to replace it. Overall one of the best we have stayed at. We would highly recommend Chase Suites in Newark!! A huge shout out to an awesome front desk staff too!! 🙌👍”

They have a robot butler servicing rooms though every now and then it forgets it’s way. Overall I had a pleasant experience and highly recommend.”

“Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, free breakfast had a lot of variety and options . There is also a store and a McDonald's very close by . My only criticism is that it's by a freeway and can be pretty noisy but the rooms come with complimentary ear plugs which is cool, also the jacuzzi was kind of grimey looking but then again it is January right now so, they may night keep up with it in winter since it stayed in the low 60s for the high during my trip.”

“Location is amazing. You pretty much cannot beat the location if you want to be near campus. So why 2 stars? The customer service is pretty much as awful as it'd be, esp for a pretty pricey hotel. Its like the front desk has never heard the concept of greetings like "hi, how are you?" or "hope you enjoyed your stay" These simple pleasantries - you think they dont even know it. Its usually students or such similar with alot of attitude, determined to make this some kind of power play. Like ppl come after long travels and me personally really appreciate these simple gestures - really, they are not that hard - it pretty much ruined check-in and check-out for me. Otherwise, the place is nice and quaint, the rooms are comfy and breakfast included is great.”

“While I was eating at Otto’s in the Kissel hotel, my car got vandalized and my sister-in-law’s luggage was stolen from the trunk. I was parked in front of the hotel, which I believed was a safe place. To add insult to injury I was told by the front desk that this had happened 3 times in the past week. Needless to say that they did nothing and there were no signs not to park there. Also, not sure what’s the use of having a “security” guard there… About the luggage: my sister-in-law was in town for a wedding that was taking place the next morning and all her stuff was gone. We scrambled to get her a coat, shoes, makeup and the list goes on… I am not proud of this city.”
