We were the only non-Italians in the restaurant and everyone was so kind to us. Gorgeous food and wine that was incredibly affordable. It’s a narrow, winding road up to Traversella but worth the trip.”

“We stayed one night at ca praudin and it was amazing! Our host were extremely nice and warm. The room was clean and cosy with a beautiful view on the mountains. This place feels like home, I recommend!! We had a big breakfast full of yummy things and the best cappuccino. We ate lunch at the restaurant and the food was very good and homemade with local products. The road is a bit steep and small but it is worth it 😍✨ Don't hesitate to go there you will have an amazing time 🌞”

“Room was on the smallish size, but it was what I expected for a 3 star hotel. The bathroom had a bidet along with a toilet & shower pod (it felt pretty cramped as we were used to more spacious showers). The beds were comfortable & the room was quiet considering it was facing the street. We had the room beside the neon sign, but the management had ensured the occupants wouldn't be discomforted by using quality block-out curtains. We were warmly welcomed & were helpful about restaurants for our evening meal. The continental breakfast was nice.”

“7 euro to park your car on the hotel parking overnight, ...why? Everything was perfect, nice room, good breakfast, good hotel overall. We arrived at 11 PM, the parking in front of the hotel was full, we share this at the reception and asked to park our car in the inside parking, at checkout the 7 euro fee... you should really remove this unexplainable fee, as it makes no sense at all...”

“Overall a very nice stay, although in rather strange atmosphere. Angela put us up in a room in a nearby which gave us plenty of room (thanks!) with no window on the outside, but very effective shower room... The rifugio is located at the end of a road, probably made famous by its twists and turns making it a delight for bikers and cyclists. It is, therefore, accessible to people with a love for mountains, but not only :) We ate well, but in a quite weird setting where the dining room was off limits unlike in typical huts, diners were not invited to share tables (although we did, and it went well!) The only place open during the day is the nearby café, which offers a nice hot chocolate. Overall our impression is positive, although not with a rifugio atmosphere (although of course it's normal that the owning team has a room or rooms just to themselves). The location is exceptional near lakes Rosset, del Nivolet, Tre Becchi, Leynir, with outstanding vegetation... A great base to explore from.”

“Company dinner in this restaurant which is not very easy to find, there was a bit of fog, the place already seems beautiful and rustic, it is certainly even better during the day. We ate very well, the menu was very Piedmontese and plentiful (they always offered us an encore of everything, including dessert), not at all expensive. The best raw meat I've ever eaten! I want to take my family there. I complimented the colleague who had proposed it and obviously the owner at the checkout.”

“Our check in experience was horrible. Antonio wasn’t patient at all. I booked 3 rooms under 3 different names. And it was easier for him to say no rooms available rather than looking through his list to find our last names. I had to tell him to cool down and be less mean. Not asking for kindness just be less mean. Other than him, everything else was good. Location superb, rooms clean though their breakfast is nothing to talk about.”

“The rooms are lovely and cleaned every day by the lovely cleaners! Rooms are little bit small but not big a issue! The hallways are very decorative by obvious interior designer! the Lobby also very abstract! The hotel is missing a proper bar, wasn’t quiet sure what it offered with the small bar, seemed like self service or something, No food either in the hotel, for a 4 star hotel it is missing something for sure! the lifts are very small too. Location wise it wasn’t that close to the city centre but close to the train station! i recommend scooters everywhere if you are up for it!”

“For the price paid, this was a great place to stay!! The room furniture was a bit old fashioned but we had a big bed (bigger than a queen size) and the bathroom had been refurbished. It was spacious and the shower bigger than the usual tiny European size. Our room was cleaned daily and the towels replaced. All employees were very courteous and kind. We had a safe place to park in the courtyard. The area wasn’t fancy but well kept and we felt save. Close to all the downtown stuff.”

“I booked the hotel as it was the closest to the San Luigi hospital where my husband was following a skiing accident. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and had everything I needed including a good breakfast and some excellent evening meals. The location would not have been one I would have chosen as it is on an industrial estate but travel was easy into the centre of Turin by bus and taxi.”

“The location was the only value here. One-week trip was booked and skipped one day that was still paid and had been noticed before. However, when I came and checked in, the receptionist said it hadn't been ?? Then I had to change clothes in a tiny toilet at the ground floor. After 15 mins, the room was ready, but my mood was gone. Suddenly, the receptionist asked me several times what time I would have breakfast without any explanation... I did not answer and went to my room. I won't recommend this hotel. Cheers.”
