“Very funky hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Perfectly adequate room, I found the huge bed very comfortable, my girlfriend said that the mattress was too hard (she’s wrong!) Only issue I had was that on our last day, they didn’t replace our refreshments, but I don’t think this is worth taking away a star! They also have a small cafe/bar which was very reasonably priced for a hotel. Location was very good as well. Walkable to many attractions and also close to a tram stop.”

Well done. We changed the room as initially the first room was a little dusty on floor 1, as soon as we mentioned they accommodated us on floor 2 straight away. Simply for this reason I have to say it was great customer service with immediate response with a smile. Would stay again but location was pretty far even tho others said it was centrally located it takes 20-25 minutes to walk to from the hustle and bustle area. “I liked that there was a table to put my laptop on in our room. The hotel restaurant waiter who spoke Ukrainian was nice. When we asked to bring more tea to our room, the staff did it. There's a very small amount of umbrellas for the whole hotel (like 5 or 10). If you ask the staff they tell you that they all were taken already and they can't do anything. There's no fridge in the room. We also had a problem with the light bulbs in our room, they were blinking. When we asked the staff to fix it, they did it only partially. There was no possibility to change the water pressure in the shower (it was at the MAX level which wasn't comfortable). The cleaning staff couldn't do their job while we were out for several hours, so when we returned to the room they tried to quickly clean something. It was cold in the room, but the air condition can only cool it, so you should bring some warm clothes and regularly drink something warm. The hotel staircase is not safe as you can enter the hotel and then any floor without having a room card. Also, be prepared that sometimes there could be explosions of firecrackers near the hotel (not only during the winter holidays time). You should probably find some better place to stay.”

“Very nice hotel. I slept on the 6th floor and my room was 614, which was very close to the elevator, so that was nice. I stayed 3 nights. Check in is earliest 15, but it was possible for me to put my luggage in the luggage room and come back later, so that I did. Check out is 12, but again I could put my luggage and come back later. In out room there is a lovely view that really comes alive in the evening. Daily cleaning if you’d like. There is a TV that connects to chromecast and also a built-in Bluetooth speaker you can connect to your phone/laptop without even having to turn on the TV. Also, a mini fridge and a tiny vault for your valuable belongings. Free soap in the toilet, along with napkins and small toilet bags. A big rain-like showerhead over your head (which I loved), and a regular showerhead as well in the bath. Hair dryer in the bathroom as well. The sweetest and most helpful staff, both in the reception but also the cleaning team. 500 ish meter away from the tram (Tram 3 I believe), so very close and convenient. All in all, I would really recommend the Niu Fender! <3 I am definitely coming back.”
