“Friday 23rd December 2023 Last night, i stopped in room 209 in this hotel. The room was great Good tv, good coffee coffee making facilities could do with more milk The bed was comfortable and on suite bathroom plenty big enough with a grand shower unit. The lift was okies, and in the morning, the breakfast was superb It's a shame is over a 10 pound taxi distance to the Doncaster town centre but other than that it's a great place to stay”

“The location of this is very bad, very far from any stores and the city center. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom doesn't have any doors and the pillow is quite hard. One nice thing is the services of the employee is very nice 👌 There's also a pool table in the reception(Very fun) Honorable mention: View is quite nice. Can see the train tracks”

“Once again Rossington Hall has excelled at providing excellent service in a fantastic environment. We stayed last night as a party of 17 as a surprise Golden wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. The staff at the hall went above and beyond to ensure that it was a celebration to remember. Nothing was too much trouble, the dining room was dressed beautifully and the food was delicious. Breakfast at the lodge was fabulous too. Our sincere thanks go to Debbie, Jane, Lucy, Gary and Thomas, and all the team for making our visit a memorable one and for helping to make my parents Golden anniversary celebrations extra special.”

“Went for Sunday lunch when we couldn’t get in at a nearby well known pub. The food and beer was very good. The vegetables were great and cooked just right for our preference - not cooked to death like other places. The Yorkshire puddings are excellent and a volonte. Service is a bit slow on a Sunday with it being busy so we had to assert ourselves a little.”

“A really fresh and modern hotel only a 15-20 walk from Sheffield Station and less to the city centre. All the staff were lovely and always happy to help. The room was clean, and felt brand new, bed was comfortable. The shower was warm and plenty spacious which can't always be said for budget hotels. The hotel had a lovely lobby bar/chill area, and we opted for breakfast one morning which had a small but decent choice of cereals, yogurt, fruit, cheese and ham, bread and pastries plus hot drinks and juices. If you're looking for a cheap & simple hotel for a few nights stay in Sheffield, I would definitely reccomend the Ibis Budget.”

“A lovely hotel. Lovely view from the room and the room itself is well laid out. The reception was spacious and the receptionists were attentive. The bathroom is clean and the TV services are better than average for a hotel. Peak times it's pricey but off peak its great value. The parking is ample and it was only a short walk from the car park. Access to the hotel is by key card so you feel very secure once you are inside.”

“Called in for a birthday celebratory drink with my daughter & son in law. Decided to stay for something to eat which was very nice. Surprised to find that there was entertainment on, a female vocalist, sounded quite good and she sang songs from different genre's. All in all a pleasurable evening.”

“It's a basic hotel. But cheap, really the only thing that was annoying was that there was only one double power socket in the room, so not enough for the three of us to charge our phones and no built-in usb chargers. Staff were friendly.”
