“I am not sure that 5 stars will ever be enough to convey to someone who has not been to Cavanera Etna just how majestic the winery, view, rooms, SERVICE, pool, view, gym, basically everything is at this superior property. The natural sparkling wine is better than any over priced bottle of Champagne I have ever tasted, and far better priced. If you are in the area, we highly recommend staying there. We wish we allotted more time to relax and sip wine and enjoy everything that this establishment had to offer us. Without a doubt, do the prix fixe dinner with the wine pairing and tour. Roberto is enthusiastic and informative and all around fun. The food and service are exceptional. TRY THE OLIVE OIL! It’s almost as good as the wine. I hope that next time we are on Sicily we can find a way to spend more time enjoying Cavanera all over again.”

SPA was closed for restorations, and there was no mention of this on the website when we booked. The food was served cold. The only real problem for me was breakfast as there was absolutely no fresh fruits or vegetables available. “Nice hôtel if you don't mind the location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable only lacking some basic amenities like tea, coffee, condiments etc. Breakfast is great with many choices. Wish they had hot water and tea available all the time. Entering the hotel is problematic. Google shows the wrong entrance. Entering the parking is dangerous because you block the traffic while you wait for the gate to open. Elevator is quite small and could be a problem when there is a big group. Rooms are okay but lacks some basic furnishings like a small table by the bed. It was nice having a safe box. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Overall could be a good place for a short stay.”
